I am planning to connect up to 10 older video game consoles into composite, from the nes all the way up to the wii (not sure if that matters) with a series of y adapters and even if only one is turned on at a time, I'm not sure if it would harm the other consoles to have a signal put back into them. I'm also wondering if any idle current from the powered-off devices would cause interference to the tv, making the signal less clear?

When i try to use my ps3, on the controller, ONLY the 4 main buttons will work. The joystick, the d pad, and the shoulder buttons dont work. Though now after looking at it closer, it seems that they do work, but it takes about 30 minutes for it to respond. Suprisingly, it works totally fine in game (this means it is the ps3 itself), but ALL types of menus do this. Unusable. And no, i do not have and extra controller. Ive already tried resseting the controller, and disasembling it and reassembling it.

I want to play a game on dolphin on my phone but the controls layout is messed up (every button is stacked up on top of each other) . I looked all over the app but there is no setting to change this! I am so angry! It is unplayable!

I was playing Mario kart 64 with 3 of my friends on my n64 (i love retro stuff. i am actually very good with computers). I was wondering how splitscreen works without doubling the lag and ram usage of a console. i was thinking that the map of the game was only rendered once in the ram, but there would still be all the entities rendered for each of the players, which would cause a whole lot more lag. Plus, this is all being done with 4mb of ram, including video ram. How?

i am trying to set a static private ip. It is telling me to put in a preferred and an alternate WINS server. What should I put in or does it depend on the router or computer?

I am trying to set a static ip address for a minecraft server but I don't know what the heck a DNS server is! I've already tried ipconfig in the cmd but it doesn't tell me what it is currently! I am using an att router and a windows 10 computer.

What should i fill it with?

I just got this Toshibia 1tb usb 3.0 hard drive from walmart. I have had it for a day, and it worked just fine yesterday. It works just fine with every other thing i connect it to. whenever I connect it to my macbook using the usb 3.0 cable that came with it, it turns on and spins like it is supposed to, but it shows up NOWHERE on my macbook's interface, not in disk utility, not in devices, nothing. But the weird thing is, when i use a USB 2.0 cable (The hard drive uses micro usb) It works just fine like normal. When i leave it in my computer for a long time when using a usb 3.0 cable it just shuts off (just now noticed it did that while typing this). I know there is nothing wrong with the hard drive, as it works just fine with every other thing i've tried it with. please help

i have ripped many of my favorite dvds, and it takes up too much space on my computer. is it okay to upload them to youtube as a private video that no one else can see to save space on my computer

I have looked inside most usb 1.1 and 2.0 ports and have not noticed any extra pins. How does usb 2.0 transfer faster than 1.1 without any extra pins.
