I was trying to make a left turn and waited for all cars to pass. As I was making the turn another car came speeding straight nd hit my car and totalled it. Although he has the right of way bc he was going straight. How can it be my fault if he was speeding. If he wasn't speeding he would have had time to stop. He was going 50-60 in a 35. Can the insurance co determine he was speeding? Is it worth it to sue?

I was turning left at a green light and the other car was coming straight while speeding. The cop said he had the right of way because I was turning. But when I was turning the car wasn't in sight until I tried to make the complete turn then he cane flying so fast that he couldn't stop. My car is totaled nd he only has bumper damage.
