I'm extremely freaked out by those Palm Pre commercials. The Stepford Wife girl on them...it's so weird. It's like, I can't look away. And after it's over,I feel like I just watched one of those subliminal message things where it tells you to kill your family. O_o

I've been wondering this since, well, basically since I started the series. I mean, the entire story takes place in England, right? [Except maybe the Quidditch World Cup? Correct me if I'm wrong, please.] And Harry hasn't left England before, has he? [Correct me?] So, my question is...what about American wizards? Do they KNOW Voldemort exists? Are they afraid, and has he ever even been over there? Because, when you really think about it, he never even conquered England. So, he's not as cool as he thinks he is. They only ever mention America in the series once, and that's at the Quidditch World Cup, where they saw the witches from salem [Correct me if I'm wrong]. I know JK said that Americans are aware of voldemort, but she never really said anything much else about it.

Those Lamasil commercials with the little toe monsters are weird. So are the new Cheetos commercials. With the puppet.

I do enjoy the Fruit By the Foot commercials, though.

Sometimes, they put two ampersands, like this "&&". Like, "She got in a fight with her mum && her boyfriend."

People also write "yhu" and "lyke". And people LOVE to repalce "G" with "Q". Like, "Dat bich was so uqqly." And people put lots of letters on the endddd of their wordsss and theyy cApItAlIZe tHiNgS LiKe tHiS. Here's a great example:

"I sO luv Yhu I swAre anD i ReallY wiSh yu cuD wriTe mE baqk I noE itS hArD buT i sTiLl lUv yu ThouGh i sWarE Im sO crAzy aBt yu!!"

^^That is real.

Why can't people write like literate human beings? It's funny to correct their spelling, because they get all mad.
