I am a friend with this dude for more than two years, and we talk to each other almost everyday on AIM for the past two years. We both go to the same university, and in fact I got to know him through my ex. I have always considered him as just a friend, and invited him to my 21st birthday party back in January, and we hangout in the weekend to watch scifi movies sometimes and get to know each other from time to time. Things changed little bit since April, one night he invited me over and we watched a movie together and later he kissed me. I wasn't sure what to respond. Then in the summer when he is back home and I was taking summer school, we talk everyday on AIM, and I never thought I would start liking him slowly, and eventually led me to go visit him one day during the summer and we had fun going on the Ferris wheel. But he is still like an asshole sometimes saying mean stuff to me, but just the way he look at me is different.

When fall started, One night before the school starts, he brought a champagne and celebrated with me on him getting a new job at school. We both got little bit tipsy and I knew he could have kissed me if he wanted to. Two weeks later we went biking together, and he told me I knew u liked me. But I am engaged with Chemistry.... I said we are just friends.

That night he invited me to this private party at 1am, and I got there seeing him pretty tipsy playing beer pong, then we left together, he was really drunk and so we couldnt bike. So I said u could stop by my apt and get some water since it is nearby.

On the way to my apt, he kept saying it was so nice to have me as a company here, someone he could reach to. After we parked out bikes, I saw him tearing little bit, so I held his hand and went upstairs to my apt and let his sat on the living room sofa, and gave him a cup of water to be sober, then sat down next to him, he put his arm around me, and we made out.

I asked him if you like me or not, he said yes, and I asked when, he said a while back.

He asked me while at the party, there were some guys hitting on me, how come I wouldnt join them, I said I am not that kind of girl. He then asked are you sure , I said yeah. The next day he said let's be platonic.

Now we are in the same class together, and I dont know where does this all going, I have stopped talking to him on AIM and deleted him.

I think we both know we don't wanna lose the friendship, don't wanna things to be complicated.

So please give me some directions on this stuck situation. Thank you!

A painter is paid 9 dollars per hour and can paint 8 m^2 with a roller in this time. Renting a spray gun costs 5 dollars for each hour of use, and the painter can paint 20 m^2 per hour with the spray gun.
