Hello,

I was need of a device for reading on the go and was thinking of getting a budget tablet then i came across e-ink readers(All-New Kindle Paperwhite). I also read that its more convenient for the eye reading on e-ink compared to LCD tablets plus they seem cheaper than even budget tablets.

I had few questions regarding the Kindle:-

1)Can it handle books with 800-900 pages?

2)Can it display tables and correctly display content inside the boxes? also what happens to boxes and arrows like flow chart?

3)Can i pinch zoom, use it in landscape, adjust text size?

4)Can i read magazines which are 60-70 MegaByte sizes and have pictures?

5)We are able to transfer pdf via usb right?

My main use is to read pdf files, i get most of my study materials in pdf, it does have tables & diagrams with arrows and boxes.

I also sometimes get magazines which i was hoping to read on it.

Will the E-ink reader do the above? if No which of the above?

Also is the kindle due for some major hardware upgrade? as in better screen or larger storage,etc.

If yes then when would it be a good idea to get one?

I am a management student and i want to learn how to make a website, but the problem is i have no clue on where to start? I do know the basics on using computer as i'm asking here but nothing more.

I was hoping some guidelines on where to start, what to learn. I do have a small saving and don't mind taking up paid classes from professionals.

I am actually thinking of taking up classes but where i live there are many small institutes which might not be of good quality, so i was hoping to know what to ask from the institute.

P.S.- I saw that someone had asked a similar question but the person who asked seemed to have more knowledge on computers than me and also the answer was too advanced for my understanding.

I had earlier asked for a GPU to run a 1080p monitor and 720p TV, my requirements were:-

1.Use both displays simultaneously

2. HDMI out for TV 720p and DVI for monitor 1080p.(Movies{1080p & 720p}, web browsing, music, mail, MS Office)

I was suggested HD 6450/6570, but couldn't find a single place which sold either or any other AMD card.

Was only able to find: -

1.MSI GT210 1GB DDR3 ($52)

2.MSI GT 440 1GB DDR3($80)

3.MSI GT640 to GTX Titan(which was completely out of my budget's reach)

The specs of my system:- i3 2130, H61M-P20-G3, 4GB DDR3 RAM, DVDRW, 350W PSU

Which of the above two would meet my needs?

My Current Setup: -

CPU - i3 2130

RAM - 4GB

Motherboard - MSI H61M-P20 (G3) (Doesn't have HDMI, only DVI and VGA)

Monitor - Compaq Presario Q2210s (1920 by 1080) (Connected by DVI)

TV - Sharp LED TV 32-Inch 32LE340M (1366 by 768) ( Connected by VGA)

I was earlier looking for a cheap graphics card and someone had suggested me a ASUS HD 6450, since i only watch movies, surf web, torrents, mail, youtube but "NO" gaming whatsoever.

My problem is, the colours on the TV via VGA are really bad comparison to that on the monitor(the colours look really unrealistic whitish...pale), would using the graphics card's HDMI solve my problems? Isn't the TV's panel supposed to have better colour reproduction, nicer quality....especially considering when i paid 6 times of what i paid for the monitor.

My desktop computer and TV are on side by side table, I use my PC to watch movies on TV via VGA and DVI cable to connect to my monitor to work on it. A friend of mine told me that if i were to connect the TV via HDMI the video quality would be much better and also no hassle of extra cable for audio.

I do no gaming whatsoever, but the graphics card should be able to play 1080p MKV movies and it'd be great if it'd play BLU-RAY(future proofing)

I am about to buy a graphics card for the first time. I went thru few articles and came to know that a good PSU is needed.I am about to buy EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Super-clocked 2048MB.

will this work? and if not i was thinking of getting a Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w Power Supply.....

Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card

I would be playing mostly need for speed, FIFA and occasionally maybe first person shoot out....Battle field 3, call of duty.....

after the setup i'm broke and need some time to collect....are the cards i'm thinking of compatible with my setup?? if not what would you suggest?

but the dell website only seems to offer the complete system(Monitor, System Unit, Keyboard, Mouse & Speakers), I just need the System unit, is this possible?

I recently bought myself a HDTV and was thinking of making a HTPC with the specs below: -

Intel Mother Board - DG41WV

Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0GHz

DDR3 SD-RAM 1066MHz 2*1GB

Western Digital 1TB HDD

NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 graphics card (for HDMI output for TV)

What I wanted to know is, compatibility of the motherboard and graphics card and is a dedicated sound card advised?

Blu-ray reader/writer is for next step when i get my finances sorted out...for now downloaded full HD movies is my preference...

if you have a more economical advise for me feel free :)

I recently bought a 3D HDTV and was about to buy a PS3 so I could watch movies stored to my computer but I came across a type of product "HD Media Player". Then I did little searching on Google and came across few products:- "WD TV live hub"; "Iomega® ScreenPlay® MX HD Media Player";"Popcorn Hour A-300"....so on....

My main use is to watch 1080p movies stored on to HDD to my HDTV. Most common formats i use are mp4, avi, mkv.

I live in nepal where electricity is 220V, will the product I get from US market work here without getting any sorts of problems.

I am new to mac & just have installed Microsoft Office:Mac 2008. I have to use word & excel a lot, the keyboard shortcuts of windows and mac seem to be different, could anyone please provide the list of shortcuts?

I do accounting work, mainly preparation of financial statements on excel with a very short deadline. Thank you for your help.
