I don't like to be hassled- life is too busy. I think most people would prefer laws to force crappy co. like health ins industry to provide standard service so you don't have to go hop from one to the other or "fire"them as Romney was actually saying!

At least Obama got us a bill with some things that companies are now required to do. Of course they made us pay for it dearly- not because they had too. They did it - tic for tat. But that is capitalism.

I am not a big supporter of either side ( and I hate the bill Obama signed to take our freedoms) but Romney shows me nothing. At least Obama is in there and has been dealing with some tough stuff!

They need to take that BS down! GAs prices where I live have been on the rise for years- in fact that was EXACTLY the reason many truckers who had companies near me went out of business in the first place. Plus many American jobs in customer service were outsourced and other industries near me found ways to do things with automation when we had this crisis! So none of that is coming back with HIGHER GAS PRICES!

Plus China gas prices are controlled by their own government and they control their currency so they will not suffer. This ARTICLE IS BOGUS!

We waste time talking about the Tea Party and all the bickering when someone should be working on jobs and wages!

Look into it if you don't believe me. Railroad retirement government program and disabilty is a program paid with your tax dollars! Tons of waste! Many people go work for Amtrak and fake disability- very easy to get on the government entitlement program! Pays same way as SSi only 3xs the check!

Plus look at all the stimulus tax money pumped into Amtrak programs to waste more money on a railroad that does not make a profit? Why not make big cuts or sell to private co. that could make it profitable?

My understanding that this program is similar to Social Security. But they never talk about cutting it?

Why? The people who collect get more than Social Security and their requirements to get on disability are much lower than SSI entitlements? All you need to prove it that you can not do the job at AMTRAK you had NOT that you cannot take any job as SSI disability requires! Plus Railroad Retirement/Disablity Government Entitlement pays 3 x s as much as SSI? The average recipient gets 3000- the average SSI recipient gets 1000 from the government!

Plus the Government subsidies they get are outrageous! We don't pay the airlines this kind of tax dollars to loose money do we?

I know people in Government love their Choo Choos! But as taxpayers CAN we afford this?

Some people say China is very dirty- people pooping every where and spitting snot ( he said they don't believe in tissues or hankies?) and food is prepared in dirty kitchens! Japan is said to be very clean people keep every public bathroom there spotless and if a pet poos- it gets cleaned up immediately.

Do you agree Japan is much cleaner ( before TSUNAMI etc.) or is China just that dirty?

Could this argument be a Smoke screen to cover up and make big unpopular cuts to Social Security and Medicaid without the American public fussing too much? They know if they drag it out the average person will just be glad it is over - not realizing the damage they are doing to our elderly?

DOES THAT MAKE 401 k an entitlement too?Stupid and when Obama says entitlements it makes my blood boil! He just does not get it! Who's side is he on?

The only entitlements that need cut are the ones these politicians get!

I saw this on the Today show and could not believe my ears? A poor black single parent- Raquel Nelson got off where the bus left her with no crosswalk and as she crossed the street with her 3 kids a drunk driver hit and killed her 4 year old. Now she was just convicted of jaywalking and faces 3 years in jail?

So much for the South being free from racism and injustice- Which does this fall under? Why isn't the bus company held liable too for not stopping at a crosswalk or well lit area?

ALSO THE MAN THAT WAS DRUNK AND KILLED HER CHILD ADMITTED TO BEING DRUNK AND HAS 2 PREVIOUS CONVICTIONS - HE ALREADY SERVED 6 MONTHS AND IS OUT OF JAIL?

How would someone do this for a good cause to help people in real need?

Where men can ask for and get people who donate 1 month payment to keep that person out of jail one more month to try to find a job and get on their feet?

It would have to go directly to the court of course and have a payment number put on it.

What do you think in this bad economy do we really want to keep paying to prosecute and jail these men? How could one start this web site?

Doesn't any other child matter? Glad she is not a prosecutor- would she only prosecute one case every 3 years?

Ok the court made a decision - my ex filed a motion to amend.Now a hearing is scheduled at the last minute and I can not get there in time( out of state) or get telephone hearing scheduled ( never served).I do not agree with what the judge ordered ( for him to pay support below minimum guidelines) or what he is asking for.

He makes 2700. a month and was ordered 217 for one child?

Can I file a motion to vacate the order? Or wait til he gets his amend ( he will probably get to pay even less lol ) and then file to a petition to modify?
