Does this guy like me?
There's this guy I know, And I must have made it obvious that I liked him because I mentioned to a friend where I was going out after work while he was nearby and he SHOWED UP at the restaurant. He was just leaning against the counter waiting for me. My friends stared at us and embarrassed me but I thought it went well ( our talk). Next time we worked together it was awkward and we didn't talk. I assumed he didn't like me. Then I saw him out and about with a girl. He went behind her and kissed her and she got mad at him for some reason. They didn't see me and I practically fled to avoid running into them. He doesn't know I saw them. I was sad. He has a girlfriend probably. Then when we worked together he walked up to my work area and didn't say anything. It was awkward so I started to talk about splitting up the work. We had some conversation throughout the day and when I spilled my files on the floor he came over and helped me pick them up. My other coworker just laughed at my spilled files. Does he like me? He is way hotter than me. So maybe I'm too ugly for him? Does he not like his girlfriend? Why did he show up to where I was after work? And then nothing. and then just help with the stuff I spilled. I don't understand.

I've had some homemade pea soup with ham. Not like a gallon. It was just a regular container you'd put food in when you pack lunch.
Then I had two Vietnamese spring rolls with sauce (not fried spring rolls)
And half a steak and some vegetables for dinner.
I'm trying to lose weight. I am worried because I don't know the calories in the steak or soup or spring rolls. I made the steak and soup but got confused on portion sizes as it was leftovers but I thought we would have more leftovers and didn't. I don't know the calories in the steak but ate half of it. I made it. I don't know calories in Vietnamese spring rolls. I bought them. They had lots of veggies and no noodles in them.
Thanks for any help! I'm trying to lose two lbs a week. Have been successful so far, but today I ate a lot of different stuff and am worried.

Are there national teams and non-national teams? Which go to the World Cup? Which do people watch? How are they separated.
It's confusing when people mention this stuff. I don't know what's going on. Is like clarification please. It's not like every team plays against each other to get to the World Cup? Do they qualify? How? They're from the same league?
How is soccer divided? I know there are many teams in countries like England so do they all try to go to the World Cup?!

I'm just curious. I know the question sounds ridiculous.
I mean people always say abusive spouses can't change, but what about when you hear about a crap parent turning around and trying to make it up to their kid? They changed? Does the rule apply to people besides spouses? Where did the idea that people never change come from?

I read a book that said I should do that as well as other very specific things about eating and when to exercise, etc. it cited scientific research ( a lot from universities). The guy who wrote it is michael matthews (thinner leaner stronger). It was very specific but useful because it cited research but also a bit intense. I've lost weight just by eating better and less and light exercise. Am I doing it wrong??? Am I going to look weird and misshapen after I'm done losing weight? Should I switch to his ideas or am I ok keeping on how I am?
So, in general, should I be counting that? I use myfitnesspal to track what I eat and am usually a bit over in one of the categories (carbs or fat or protein % daily calories from each source). Thanks for any help! I appreciate it.

I'm just over 200 lbs. I've lost 40 lbs (1/6 of my body weight). I have been jogging on an old treadmill I bought in my house and just added some strength exercises because the doc said I want to maintain muscle. This is all new to me. I read a book (thinner leaner stronger) with great reviews by Michael matthews. I thought maybe I should try his regimen for women. I'm not sure if I should try his regimen or stick with what I'm doing. I'm just scared I'm going to look like a weird sort of curve less person that has loose skin. I'm young which should help reduce that risk? Do you think jog/walking 30 min 3-5 times a week and doing 5-20 min of core/butt/leg/ etc and eating to lose 2 lbs or less a week (I am really freaked out to go to college and get judged) is ok? A major reason I'm worried about going to the gym is being judged, I don't have a workout buddy, and people from school go there and I feel uncomfortable/they might stare/ awkward/judge me. Should I continue on my at home regimen or go to the gym all alone to get judged by the jocks? My original plan was to do what I do and when I get more fit is go to the gym and do free weights (and for now i would get some heavy spinlock dumbbells). Pleaseeeee help! Should I continue doing what I do or follow the book I read and go to the gym? I'm trying to avoid looking weird due to large amount of weight loss. Thank you so much!

There's an app for iPhone and probably other devices called "workouts". It's free and has great reviews. It's the one with the rainbow background and little stick figures. I'm unable to go for a jog for a while because I'm on vacation in an area with very curved and busy roads with no sidewalks and no hotel gym. I wanted to add strength training to make sure I don't lose muscle while losing weight. Do you think this will suffice for my strength training? A 10 min workout 4 times a week? I'll watch what I eat to stay whithin calorie goals and I don't log the workout cause it barely burns anything. I want to know if it will make me more toned though? THANK YOU!

When weight loss slows and taking steps to avoid getting wrinkly stomach skin. I've been eating 1200-1500 cal a day roughly and lost 40 pounds. I started exercising a little bit (some strength exercises for like 10 min a day to avoid losing muscle and then some jogging and walking). Do you think I can lose 60-70 in a year? That's my goal. Any advice?

I want to buy spinlocks because from what I've read they are the cheapest. I am going to buy them from somewhere reputable like Walmart,target, *****, or amazon. I don't which ones to buy. How do I know how much weight the bar can hold? If I buy one with 40 lbs will I be able to add weight plates later or will the bar not be able to take it? How will I know if the weigh plates I buy to add on fit the bar? Confused. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's not about the calories burned it's about improving fitness, right? Cause doing 10 minutes of core workouts won't burn a ton of calories. I've been losing weight over a long period of time and have been jogging and walking a lot but mostly watching what I eat. My doc said that I should add strength because as you age you lose muscle mass. I started lifting these little 5 lb weights I found about 45 times with a little break between each 15 doing different types of lifting (like 45 times for each lifting move) and downloaded an ab app and have been doing it. Do you think when the rest of the fat comes off there will be a difference? Am I doing ok incorporating strength training? The app is called "ab workout" and has good reviews.

Is it exciting? Not like tv I bet, though because tv jazzes stuff up. How many arrests are normal? Any info would be great. What's an average day like? If you are or were an officer, maybe mention if you were one in a rural, small town, or city setting please. I think I want to become one, but I'm not sure.
Also, do you know any requirements for vision and hearing in your area?
How would you guys suggest going about any plans? Should I join the military first? Go get a degree in something like criminal justice or just go to police academy (if accepted)?

The legal age is 21, but basically everywhere else it's 18 or 19.... I live near a college, and there are a lot of parties. I know people drink. I'm wondering is it normal? Do cops try to enforce it? I want to join the police force. I have started eating better and working out. I can't hear out of one ear, but I don't need hearing aids or anything. I can hear people perfectly well. You wouldn't even be able to tell if you met me. Do you think they would accept me?! It never occurred to me that my ear might get in the way. I'm so used to it, and it doesn't really affect me. Any advice? Is there anything I can do? I feel so sad now that I realize my ear might mess things up. I couldn't find the requirements for the local department. Please help!
