I got:

4^x+2(2^x)-3

The answer in the back of the book is:

4^x+2^(x+1)-3

I want to know what i'm doing wrong. Is the book wrong?

How do you make sure that no one else simply takes your work (maybe put a little filter on it) and call it their own?

At this price range, does it have good specs?

I am interested in buying an All-in-one PC. The one I am currently looking at is vizio's newly announced All-in-ones. I am looking at the 24". I cam across these two differences and I am not sure what to pick or which one would suite me better.

I am a student. I will mostly use this for school work, light gaming (I don't need anything to run on ulta-high or anything like that), and Photo and HD video editing in Adobe's CS6 suite, which I currently use on my laptop. So let me know which one is a better choice and why. Thanks

I am currently a sophomore (10th grade). Next year I will be taking the IB diploma. I wanted to know if you are taking it or you have taken it before, how much homework do you get? Have you ever had to pull an all-nighter?

I have been fascinated by concept artists and anime/manga styles of drawing and painting. I am 16 years old, a sophomore in high school, and I want to learn how I can do all that too. The problem is, I don't know where to begin because I am not a good artist. I used to be able to draw pictures I saw in drawing books when I was small. I used to draw book covers and I was actually good at it, but not anymore because I have not been drawing anything for a long time.

I do have Photoshop and a Wacom tablet (bamboo capture). Believe me, when I want to get something done, I get it done. I am willing to put hours into practicing this skill. I just don't know exactly where to begin. What should I learn to do first because it seems like I cannot draw anymore.

Please don't talk about art school, because that is just out of the question for me. I want to do this as a hobby AND a back-up if I believe my life is not going in the direction I want it to.

It would be great if you could guide me to good article that I need to read, something to practice, specific videos, or anything else you might want someone like me to know.

I know that it will be in imax 3d and it is going to be AMAZINGLY SUPERTASTICLY EPIC, but was it actually shot in 3d?

For my short film in my film class, I am going to be shooting a thriller/horror film at night outside. There I don't have any control of how it will be lit. How can I light up the scene and show more of what is going on outside rather than making everything seem mostly dark with barely anything. The light outside is too small to show anything that is going on.

they almost fit, but the heel comes out a little (not all of it), i tried on a half a size smaller, but its too tight. Is there any way to get a better fit?

I have an iPhone 4 (without a sim b/c i got it without a contract) and I have a normal AT&T sim card. I found out that the sim iPhone 4 uses is something called a "micro sim" (correct me if I am wrong). Is there any way I can put my larger AT&T sim card into my iPhone? I don't want to cut it myself because I am afraid I will mess up and I don't want to get another contract with AT&T for the phone. Is there any way to sway that larger sim for a "micro sim"? Is there any other way to make it work so I can make calls? Please help me.
