  • Is my friend jealous and should I not be friends with her?

My friend and I are driving to the club on night, and I was singing a song. The lyric was "competition, I don't see any." I'm not sure if she thought I was actually expressing a thought, but she proceeded to say, "Competition, I don't see any; maybe a challenge, but not competition. Your pretty and all, but you're not competition for me." Survey says....

  • Why is my friend acting like this?

My friend of over a year has really been doing things that best friends shouldn't do to each other. She's copying me (the way I speak, my hobbies/interests, my style), and she's talking about me behind my back to my boyfriend who, until recently, was a mutual friend of ours. She's telling him a lot of deeply personal things that i said to her in confidence. I don't really know if she's trying to be malicious, but it's really starting to get to me.

  • Does he like me; what should I do?

I play volleyball with this guy. I don't really know him well; we've only been playing together a little over a week. If I show up, and he's playing with another team, he'll glance at me occasionally. If we play on the same team, every good pass/set/play I make receives a compliment. He always asks me when the next time I'll be playing is, but he hasn't asked for my number or anything? So, survey says...

  • What should I do in this situation?

I’ve come to like my friend’s fiancé’s brother. My friend and I were together all the time, I spent the night with her and her fiancé on a very regular basis. While I was there, we cooked together, cleaned together, their sons were my nephews. I had even grown to call her fiancé a close friend of mine as well. We got along and shared some similar interests.

A few months ago, his younger brother was home on leave. We talked and clicked instantly. We went on a few dates, and came to like each other. We don’t talk much, but I didn’t really think anything of it, especially sense I thought that I would get another shot when he came back again before I leave for college.

The problem is that my friend and her fiancé have had a few really bad falling-outs. She asked me what she should do, and I gave her my honest opinion: that the way he has been treating her is not okay and the environment is horrible for her son. I also told her that she’s more than capable of making her own decisions, and that I’m always happy for her happiness. Of late…I get the feeling that she’s been blowing me off. Why is she doing this? Do I still have my best friend and will I get the chance to see her fiancé’s cute brother again?

  • Will you go to my blog?

I'm a debut author, Elizabeth Sterling. My blog is www.esblogging.net. My novel is mythological based with a more contemporary twist. Zahra, my heroine, is an amazing character to follow, along with all the others. Really, I just want to build my audience and interaction with my readers. The feedback is helpful and extremely appreciated. Retrograde is a good read for teens or young adults that love mythology and a great read for anyone who loves action. Please visit my blog and feel free to connect with me in other ways (facebook, twitter, sterling novels).
