While I was at the gym getting tips from a friend whos my age, yet extremely buff, this older guy who said hes 50 and was also quite fit started giving us advice. Im a bit overweight (5'11, 250 pounds, and quite a large gut) and he said everyones body comp is different, so I cant do the same things as everyone else.

He also told me if I do cardio and once I start exerting myself, like I have to force myself to keep up the pace, its counter effective if I go on like that for too long. He said it burns muscle and lowers metabolism. That actually made a little sense to me, because I started to be able to do 6 miles in an hour on the elliptical, then I could barely bring myself to do over 5. I havent extremely changed my diet, just avoiding eating junk. Like fast food. I have felt myself getting muscularly stronger and have been able to move up on the weights I do, but I'm confused.

My friend puts in about 20 hours a week at our job. We work in a restaurant, Im a server and hes a salad tosser/ sous chef. On the way home he was complaining about his paycheck...he said his last check was $100. Im not sure exactly what the tax is, but I remember when I was a busboy before tax was $160. after it was around $130. So I'll say his before tax was $120-130.

And before anyone says he should have to work for that pay, he does a good job. We usually have two sous chefs in the back on weekends, one quit in anger and while we were packed on a weekend I heard no complaints about him being slow. He hardly needed assistance.

Where can I go to learn about several wines? Ive been a busboy at a restaurant for a year and a half and they said if I want to move up, I must know about wines and spirits.

My sister, got pregnant about 3 years ago. The first guy we thought was the father was this guy she claimed he was dating. They did a 2nd DNA test, and it said the dad was her old FWB. Then one day he said he wanted to do another DNA test. Because he was getting really tired of my sister. And it turned out to be that the true father is...my cousin's current boyfriend. My sister is known for spouting lies. She told my cousin, but my cousin grouped it with my sister's countless lies. My Mom heard it directly from the 2nd guy's Mom. I really don't know whats wrong with my cousin's boyfriend, or why he chose my sister that night. Which makes me question his taste in girls. My sister was...well, the only word to describe her is: a ball. A big ball. And my cousin, his girlfriend...is a lot prettier and slimmer than her, by far. I think he was extremely drunk that might. Anyways, she told me my sister told her. But I kept quiet, and just said "Oh", But they've been together for a long time.

I know this may sound ridiculous, but here's why I think this:

I had a very bad cough all day and I noticed a whole liter of sprite sitting on the counter. Not thinking much of it, I poured myself a glass and drank like a cup an hour. Before this, I was coughing every minute or so, after my cough stopped for the next 6 hours. I didn't take any medicine. No cough syrup or anything, all I had was soda.

So I started stimulating my prostate by sticking my finger up my butt. No, I'm not gay. But this morning I sat down to go poop and water was red. Told my Mom about the toilet. Now I have an examination scheduled tomorrow. Will my doctor be able to tell what I've been doing? Will he tell my Mom?

I bought a cheap game at a flea market and after a couple months took it to Gamestop to trade it in. They told me they couldn't take it because the data (the shiny reflective surface on the back of the CD) was partially missing. A thin ring of the reflective surface went out halfway of the disk's radius, then just stopped. In a perfect even circle. After that ring of data, it was just whatever the CD is made out of.

My PC's wireless card broke within a couple months of owning it. I know this may be a stupid question, but a phone has wireless capabilities so I was curious.

Like people call a band like Suicide Silence death metal, but call a band like Of Mice & Men Metalcore. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but I don't get it.

I'm already watching Naruto, One Piece, and Inuyasha. Any others? Please don't suggest shows that don't have every single episode and just stop when there's like 2 seasons left.

Netflix doesn't have it, they stopped at season 7. Hulu has 5 whole episodes. And every website I find suggests Hulu, as if they're the go to if you want to watch Supernatural. Am I missing something? I only use Hulu on my phone because the PS3 app sucks. Do I need a PC to see it or something?

I started listening to them only a year ago and I wondered why they only have 2 albums. Then I found the whole feud between him and his band member, and Attack Attack!. This all happened awhile ago. But then I saw an article saying Austin is re entering the band. Does this mean they're going to make more albums? Or are they still broken up?

They're the only grunge band I listen to...I need more Grunge music in my library.

She's not really aloud to talk. I'd just talk on my mic and she would type in reply. So I don't like having my headset pointlessly on so I turned on music and it was only playing through my headset only. She started complaining how it was loud. (I keep my volume at 50% only). So then I turned it down to where it was two clicks away from being mute. She could still hear it. Why?

My friend told me it was a choice for him...but when I think about it, you can't just convince a guy or girl to be straight or gay if they're gay or straight. You can't control who you're attracted to. Like you can't control what turns you on. Or what foods you really like. I couldn't just try it out or decide one day and be like "I'm gay". This kind of annoys me because people who are against gay people act as if they just woke up and choose to be like that, and take on all the judgements from people and the fear of losing friends and sometimes the respect and love of family. So, is it a choice, or does it just happen?

Buying one from friend for super cheap

I was clipping her nails, and when I got to one nail she pulled her leg away. When I held it down and started to clip, I did it very slowly because of the way she was acting in case I'd end up hurting her. She dark black nails. This nail is one of those claws that are on the side of her legs and we got her like this. So the claw can't touch the ground. But when I started to cut the nail more and more she let out a sharp cry and I stopped immadietly. She looked really scared. I looked closer at the nail and below the nail it's kinda pinkish. None of the other nails are like this at all.

Everytime I press down a little she'll pull away. I don't try to cut them really short, just enough so they keep out of her pads. (She still has those sideclaws, they weren't removed at birth). I cut them all the same length. Every other one she'd just sit there, scared of course. But when I get to this certain claw...she flinches and pulls away and looks up at me and gives me this terrified look. I'm hardly cutting them shorter than a centimeter. It's only a trim. Why is she reacting this way?
