I moved into a rental house recently with a one year lease. I signed the lease several months ago after only briefly seeing the house and having the landlord assure me it would be broom swept and empty by the time we moved in. In addition to the house still being full of his stuff (mostly in the attic and basement), we've noticed some definitely questionable things. For example, the outside cement stairs to the doorways are crumbling, there is black mold underneath a windowsill on the peeling wallpaper, the bedroom doors do not shut (from warped wood, I presume), there are cracks/water damage in the walls and ceilings, and more. If I call a township or private inspector to the house, and it fails, would that give me reason to break the lease and move elsewhere?

I've noticed by looking at the Greek life banners at my school that some organizations are listed as "ABC Sorority" (or fraternity) and other ones are called "XYZ Sorority, Inc." (or fraternity). What's the difference?

The past 3 or so days, I've been waking up with a really sore throat. My glands are a little bit swollen, my nose is a bit runny, and coughing or sneezing is very painful. It usually goes away (or hurts less) by mid day. Could this be the start or something worse? Or is it just allergies?
