Hi Weirdly i hear a lot of sound echoing in my rented 500 sq ft apartment without partitions on first floor. The apratment is besides road where cars, bikes are frequent. The entry door is of metal and with lots of gaps, and no wooden door, which opens into cement stairs up to the inside the room, my question is can a wooden door will seal the incoming noise from road? How it should be constructed?

your answers might help me to get a sound sleep in night

My rented house is nearby a road not that crowdy but the engine rumble of vehicles pass by are braking my sleep badly, i am looking for Howard Leight Sleepers ear plugs or anything else which might be good (NNR (noised reduction rate) rating should be above 30)

i do not want to download it as my net connection is pretty slow
