A friend has the white Macbook, which to my belief has all usb 2.0 slots. Unfortunately, by trial and error with my own PC, I found that the mouse will only work with usb 1.0, since it worked when I plugged it into my own usb hub. Is there any way to force a Mac to use usb 1.0?

I have a new Dell Studio 15 with 3gb RAM and a 2.16 ghz intel core 2 duo and windows vista. resume time from hibernate is very slow. is there anything i can do to improve this?

Is it safest to shut down, hibernate, or sleep when i move my computer?

I have a HP deskjet F300 series printer. It was working fine with my vista laptop, then one time i was printing and i wasn't paying attention and i pulled out the cord from the computer.

now nothing will print, i've reset the printer, cancelled all documents, even deleted and re-added the printer.

what can i do?
