Hello! I was just wondering about the best way to publish a my book. I have a wonderful story about love from a distance. It is called, THE DISTANT TOUCH. My question is, what is the best way to go about this? I know there are self publishing companies out there who charge fee. Would I be best served by trying to go with a publisher who pays the fees up front? I have already had a lot of interest on this book. But I want to make the right decision here. Any writers out there with information, please advise is welcome!

Okay, this is a pretty complicated situation. But here goes! I am currently involved with a woman who has 2 boys in New York. She is married, but has tried to divorce and that was recinded by her husband. The problem is that she wants to leave him and come with her kids. I live in Illinois and her husband has now got full custody. If she were to leave with the children, what legally would happen to her? Just a little background.. She has been sexually and mentally abused by this man. He has power of attorney over her. What can she do to get her life back? Any advice from a Womans Rights person would be very much appreciated. I have been out of work since July of 08, and not been able to find anything work wise. Since that time, I have had many anxious feelings. I have developed a habit of picking up trash around the neighborhood. Especially cigarette butts. I have Bi-polar anyway. Any opinions would be welcome.

My girlfriend has been put in Whitney Payne in White Plains NY for a 2nd time in the last 4 months(against her will) She does suffer from Bi-Polar, but otherwise is mentally competent. What are the laws in the state of New York? I am very worried that she is being hospitalized needlessly at this point. The last time this happened she told me she got into a manic state and then they hospitalized her and gave her medication (holdall) and she is not psychotic? Any imformation will be very much appreciated!

I just got divorced (not my idea) after 17 years of marriage. I have a daughter 15. My X got everything! And I got my clothes and my car! I had to move out of MY house and live for the time being with my mom and dad. I am laid off and have been since July of 08. My question is, how do you get through something this traumatic, especially when you are not employed and have ALL THIS TIME on my hands. Right now, saying its overwhelming is A UNDERSTATEMENT! I even had to file to get food stamps and possible disability too. Any advice would be very welcome! Thanks!

Here is the deal, I have been dating this woman since May of 08. She wants to divorce, but he does not. Her money he has power of attorney over her. She has 2 boys also. She wants to move on and come and live here, move away from New York. What legal recourse does someone have when a person has power attorney over they're funds? She has bi-polar but is otherwise a very bright and more then capable woman. Any legal advise would be appreciated! Thanks!

I filed for disability about 2 weeks ago. I have been out of work over a year and at 49, had to move back in with my parents after my wife and I divorced after 17 years. My question is I have already been told that I am eligible for disability. But how long will it before I am notified? Thanks!

Hello, I have friend whose husband is in the 4th stage of prostate cancer. He is 60 years old and has lost alot of weight. My question is about how many months does he have left roughly? He was diagnosed about 3 1/2 months ago. Thanks!
