Does keeping your room cool affect ants?
I have a minor sugar ant infestation in my bedroom, which is honestly one of the most annoying things ever. I'm obviously trying other baits and sprays to get rid of them, but does keeping my room relatively cold via AC and ceiling fans have any effect on ants? I ask because obviously ants don't like to be around in the colder seasons, and it does seem like when I leave the AC on for awhile, there are fewer ants around.

I'm looking for jobs where the bulk of activity is mainly walking around in nature. Perhaps walking to analyze scenery, check for illegal activity, or whatever really. I would prefer there to be less science (e.g. I know there are some jobs where you go around specifically doing scientific evaluations on flora and fauna) unless it's something that isn't necessarily too heavy-handed. I would also prefer there to be a little less interaction with people (e.g. park rangers/naturalists often have jobs that involve lots of nature walking, but they're also expected to give tours, lectures, and so forth). And finally, preferably something that doesn't necessarily require a specific major (e.g. forestry).
I am perhaps being idealistic, but I'm open to checking out any possibilities, even if they do in fact involve specific majors, lots of social activity, and science. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
