Laughable

I have naturally curly hair and have been wearing wet a lot lately. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my hair was coming out in knotted clumps and losing it's curl. I stopped using the curl moisturizer and then realized all the knotts were at the ends. Now I think the ends are knotting because I wear my hair in buns. What do you guys think I should do? We love each other and I'm sooooo glad I met him. I can see my self still being friends with him as we grow older. He's not talking to anyone else but he doesn't want a girlfriend, but the way it is now is basically the same thing. What is stopping him from becoming my boyfriend?
