we travel alot and the big laptops are PIA for planes and in general. have been looking at several small ones. need wifi. also some dont have enough memory..how do they run?..lol

i bought this because it says mpeg hi quality. how do i get the movies off it? they show as mts file and nothing i have reads them. do we have a setting wrong? ive been thru the manual. thanks for any help.

i have tons of old family movies that i want to put to dvd. i have the software and hardware and its capable. the problem is the vhs tapes themselves. im not sure if its tracking problem or just degraded. i rewound and fast forwarded all in hopes the tape was at the right tension..still looks bad. you can see a screen shot of the problem here:

see the purple/blue tube line on the left? it comes and goes and the vid is jerky. is this a vhs player problem? or is the tape shot?

do they charge sales tax?

my husband uses AS about 2x a day..but the sodium is horrendous..any ideas?

i loved this camera and have treated it well for my pocket point n shoot. just yesterday is stopped shooting. all the functions work like the menu and changes..just wont snap the pic. i read the manual before anyone gives me a smart answer :)..i have dropped the batteries out, reset all the functions etc. so i am sending it for warranty repair.
