  • is it ok to ask my friend for birthday money?

On Wednesday, its my birthday. I'm turning 17! What's upppp?? Lol ok. So I invited my friend (she's much older than me, she's like a mother figure), I invited her to a restaurant in NYC with me and my dad on Wednesday evening. She lives in NYC. When I go sleepover at her place she'll sometimes give me some money to go out and get myself some food. She offers, I don't ask at all. She asked me what I wanted for my birthday, she asked if there's anything special I would like. I've known her for years, but I don't know how appropriate it is to ask her for birthday money. I really can't think of anything that I want badly. I do want birthday money. Even though I've known her for a long time, I'm afraid that she might get pissed off with me and also I don't feel comfortable asking even though I really wanna. Should I? Should I not? Maybe? What's your advice on this?

  • I developed a crush on a guy, and wanna confess before it's too late. would it scare him?

So... I started going to this mall. I love it. It has everything I like. I went into this CVS store, and a guy working there caught my eye. He's so handsome. I only asked him where certain things were, and payed at the front with him, but I went there a few times and every time I see him, my heart races. I definitely developed a crush on him. So now I wanna confess before its too late. Because I made that mistake last time with my last crush. So, I have a plan, but I'm afraid its gonna scare him away. I wanna walk to him, ask where a certain thing is, and then I wrote down on a piece of paper what I have to remember by heart to say to him. I wrote "Hey, look, I'm going to make this quick because I know you're working, I know this is weird because I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I came here to cvs a few times, and I just happen to stumble upon your stunningly handsome appearance, making me so attracted to you that I developed a crush on you, and I'm starting to like you. I'm not asking you to reciprocate the feelings, I'm just letting you know, and i completely understand if you don't feel the same way". So should I have some guts and tell him that? Risking scaring him away?

  • what are some ways to make a man happy non-sexually?

Like, what are the little things that can make a guy's day? Or make him happy non sexually? No sexual answers please. I wanna make a man happy in order to get him into bed with me. I haven't gotten to that point yet. I wanna get my crush into the sack, so answering "bl*wjob" won't help me at all. I gotta do NON sexual things to make him happy at first to get him In the sack, so please only non sexual answers

  • My new crush asked for my number. interested or just business wise?

Me and my dad are doing real estate business. We have a house and we're renting the rooms on 2nd floor and 3rd floor. There's 6 rooms in all, and a kitchen on 2nd floor where everyone gets together, cooks, watches tv, and talks. Its sorta like a shared house, like a co-op. It's nice. Well a guy came 2 days ago. He really caught my eye. First glance at him and I blushed. Almost dropped my box of pasta shells. I was cooking. My dad and that guy was on the second floor. He took a room and signed the contract. Today he came by on the second floor again to give us the check for the rental. But my dad has to leave on Friday to Europe to help a sick family member out, and he's coming on Sunday, so he needed my number so I could show him to his room and give him the keys for the kitchen on 2nd floor and what not. So he asked for my number while I was sitting and eating ice cream. He put my number in his contacts and my dad told him my name. So was he interested or was it just business wise?

  • Guys, how would you react if a girl you didn't like so much told you flat out that she likes you?

I'm seriously considering confessing to my crush that I like him. Like just telling him flat out. After I gave him my number 3 weeks ago (that he didn't ask for), he didn't contact me at all. He works at a shoe repair store close to where I live and I don't think he's very interested. And I'm scared of the way he'll react when I tell him flat out that I like him. I hope he doesn't call the cops on me. I still wanna tell him I like him. I still wanna be brave, have balls, and tell him flat out that I like him to see what he says. But again I'm afraid of the way he'll react because I know he doesn't like me very much at all. Guys, how would you react if a girl you don't like very much tells you that she likes you flat out?

  • How do I get a hot guy (stranger) to walk up to me and approach me?

After being rejected many times and scaring men away because I made the wrong first moves, like for instance asking a guy out, that scares them away. So I went to my dad about it. I asked him how I can make the first move which won't scare a guy away. He told me just to smile at a guy, or say hi. If he's interested he'll walk up to you and talk to you. Ok so wave and smile! I think I got good advice, but I also need to ask you guys (males) on here if that's a good thing to do. If I simply smile a showing my interest and making a first move, if the guy is interested, will he come talk to me? Like lets say we're at a coffee shop, would that happen?

  • I think I scared my crush away, what do I do now?

I've had a crush on him for 7 months before I even talked to him. You see 7 months ago, I passed by a shoe repair and found a man staring at me. I looked at him too and developed a crush on him at first glance because he was so handsome. But in the meantime, I was too shy to talk to him, and then I got a boyfriend, and then after my boyfriend dumped me I was still too scared. My boyfriend dumped me a month ago, and just 2 weeks ago I finally got the courage to go in and talk to the guy at his shoe repair store. I was his customer at first, I introduced myself, met him, and did business with him. He shined my boots. But I was still too scared to give him my number. Something I've been meaning to do for a long time. Then 2 days after he shined my boots, I wrote his name on an envelope, wrote my number and name on a piece of paper, put in an envelope, and hand delivered it to his workplace. I went in, said hi. He smiled at me. He was sure friendly with me, and I said "here I got something for you" and then told him I had to rush somewhere after I handed it to him. As I was walking out, I heard him opening it. I kept on going in my nervous feelings. I guess that was a huge sign that I like him, and he hasn't contacted me at all. I gave him my number a week ago. I think I came on too strong and that scared him away. What should I do now? I wanna fix this

  • could I give him my number at his workplace?

Well I have a crush on this guy at a shoe repair store. I know he gets off at 6. And goes to a bus stop. But this time I missed him again! I already have a paper and his name on it with my number written for him so he knows its for him and not another guy. I did business with him yesterday, but didn't have the paper ready. And I was gonna write my name and number down while I was there with him waiting for my boots to finish polishing, but I chickened out and didn't write down anything. Should I just be brave and go into his work with the paper for him? Should I just like causally walk in and give it to him, say I gotta rush somewhere and leave quickly? I know he's gonna think I was too shy to give it to him when I was there with him, but this seems like the best option. Should I do it?

  • I developed this crush on a guy who works at a shoe repair store close to where I live, what do I do?

I had a crush on him for 6 months and I may have waited too long. I only said hi to him on the street when he got off work to wait at the bus stop. But his workplace is close to where I live. Like a couple blocks. I feel like I waited too long and my nervousness is holding me back. He works with other guys at the shoe store but sometimes he works alone there. I don't wanna embarrass him in front of his other male coworkers. We have made eye contact while I passed by him while he was in his store. But I didn't bother to go in. I wanna go in when he's alone so I don't embarrass him, and I can introduce myself and give him my cell phone number. That's my goal. But first I have to check if he's alone there by passing by and he might see me checking. :/ so any advice for what I can do?

  • Question Strictly ONLY for people who had boils/abscesses lanced?

I've seen lancing videos before. Looks quite painful and I need to get my abscesses lanced soon. I have multiple lumps. They even cut the lump open with this tiny knife if its closed up, that's my fear of feeling the knife cutting in even after they numb it with a local anesthetic. Did you feel the knife cutting in when they opened it up and drained it?

  • I have 2 abscesses under both my armpits. My friend is making me go get it lanced at her hospital, is it gonna hurt?

I've been having this problem for 4 years. I finally told my best friend (who does have a right of attorney over me) who's like my guardian. She's much older than me and even has a daughter older than me. So I'm kinda like her daughter. Now I don't have a choice, I have to get my abscesses lanced. I don't know how much the anesthesia is gonna work. I've been through 3 open heart surgeries and I was asleep. But this is much more scary because I'm awake and scared they won't inject too much anesthesia in my armpit area, and I'll feel the pain of them cutting through, opening it and cleaning it all out. I'm also scared of getting the needle 2 times in both armpits. How painful is it gonna be?

  • Is it ok to give a waiter my number on a piece of paper?

Would he get in trouble if his boss finds out that he kept my number for his own personal keeping? I don't care about rejection, or not getting called, but I just don't want him to get in trouble for it and me being the reason that he got fired, or has sh*t on his hands, because I have made some of mistakes before that got few guys in trouble. So would it be ok to give my waiter my number and a nice note along with it?

  • is it illegal to lie that its your birthday at a restaurant to get free stuff?

On my birthday, I couldn't go to a restaurant and have a free dessert and everything. Because I couldn't. It was my 16th birthday. And I wanna make up for it by lying its my birthday today, but I don't wanna end up in jail for doing that. People lie about it all the time, and I know its bad to do, but I wanna say its my birthday today to make up for my last birthday that I didn't get the free dessert at a restaurant. So will I go to jail if I lie about my birthday?

  • Help me? I can't text him first?

The nervousness is killing me. It makes me sick to my stomach whenever I think of texting him first. You know that nervousness you feel when you're just about to get a needle/shot/blood test? Yea that feeling of fear and nervousness. I don't like him anymore, and I made that clear to him, so I won't have any problems with that, i just wanna be his friend but what if I bother him? What if he gets mad? I just can't bring myself to text him first. Its close to impossible for me. I even get a headache thinking of texting him first. What do I do?

  • How do I get my courage to message this guy first?

He messaged me first 2 weeks ago. I made it clear to him that I don't like him anymore. And I don't. He's not my ex, just a guy I slept with and developed feelings for. Our connections got more and more serious. We never dated but we sorta became friends after that. But then he scared the sh*t out of me. I made a mistake and he threatened me that he would come to my house and I almost had to call the cops on him! :/ he came back to me 2 weeks ago saying he forgave me. Ok... but now I'm scared to message him first. He may get mad. How do I get the courage to text him first?

  • How do I get around to this guy? without directly contacting him?

I've just tried to call him, and I punched in *67 first to make it say restricted or private number. He didn't answer. Now I can keep contacting him with *67 to hide my number but he's gonna get suspicious. I don't wanna directly message him. 2 weeks ago I made it clear that I don't like him, and I really don't. I don't wanna make him think that I like him again by messaging him first. I just wanna be his platonic friend. That's all. So how do I contact him subtly? I don't wanna directly message him first, and I don't wanna call him with *67 hiding my number over and over again because he'll think something is up. So how do I get around to him?
