I understand that static electricity is the giving or retaining of loose electrons. What I don't understand is how anti-static works. I have lots of old computer components that I store at home. I never really know what to wrap them up in. They usually have some dust on them and its to expensive to constantly be buying antistatic bags. Plus all the bags have a tint of either silver or pink which makes it difficult for me to see which components are in the bags. So the other day I thought electrical tape is made out of vinyl so that should be anti-static and I can't seem to find any info on it. I know that clean rooms are made using vinyl but are they coated with something to make them anti-static or is all vinyl anti-static? I just want a clear completely transparent material I can put these components into without damaging them. Should I also consider having silica gel packets I don't know if this helps with static electricy but it would be good to know if it does?

I was wondering are there HD only stations, does it play regular fm/am stations with better quality and is there anything special I have to do to hear the HD stations (i.e. How do I find HD stations and how do I know they are HD)? Im asking because I was thinking about buying an HD compatible radio.

USPS just sent me a letter stating that they lost my package and that due to Federal Law 28 U.S.C. 2680 (b) they are exempt from reimbursment since the package had no insurance. The package was uninsured, was supposed to have a signature upon delivery, they said a "sorry we missed you" notice was left on Dec 17th but I never recieved one of those either and I was home all day.I've had everyone in the post office look for this package its a $899 Camera Lens that would not fit in my mailbox. I reported it to ebay what else could I do to be reimbursed?

I just paid $1,300 USD for this platinum crown because I heard it was the best and most durable and it just broke in half. I haven't really been eating anything hard like ice I was just eating oatmeal and there it went. I still have the piece that broke any ideas on what I should do? I have had it for less than a month and I don't have a dental plan (altough I am looking if you have any suggestions please tell me) so I would hope I don't have to buy another. Any ideas?
