Tips for staying motivated with losing weight?
Hi,
I get married in 18 weeks and would like to lose a stone to stone and a half before my wedding, but I'm finding it really hard to stay motivated on days off and my weight hasn't gone down for 3 weeks which is off putting also.
I eat healthy 5 days a week but the other 2 are days off with my fiance and he eats really bad and I always cave in and eat bad too!! Always fried goods!!
I have a slow metabolism which I'd love to know how to speed up?!
I don't eat anything processed.
I eat a lot of fish and chicken with veg.
I'm now swapping to brown rice.
I avoid anything in pastry, bread and potatoes.
I have a running machine which I do 20 minutes run and 20 minutes fast walk three times a week. I swim once a week and do a workout dvd once a week also.
My weight hasn't changed in over 3 weeks and I'm starting to give up on losing this weight :(
My fella always says he likes me how I am so i'm doing this for me because I want to feel confident and sexy in a bikini on our honeymoon.
Please help!!
40 AnswersDiet & Fitness6 years agoLearning to be happy again...?
Hi all.
I lost my Dad to cancer 2 years ago in September and I'm still finding it really hard.
He battled for 4 years, and he died at home.
I only have my sister left now, we don't have any other family left.
I'm 28 years old.
My dad was absolute soul mate,I told him everything and we spoke every day.
I have things to look forward to.
I'm getting married in June next year - but to a man he never met.
I have a nearly 3 year old niece who i adore and look after every week.
My Dad left me financially well off, I own my home out right. But I feel guilty for enjoying it, because I had to lose him to have it.
I'm finding it really hard to just feel happy again.
Does anyone have any tips on how to have positive thoughts?
I seem to be so negative now, when I used to be the life of every party.
I'm just not me anymore.
Thanks for reading xx

Me and my sister have one living relative left.
She is 99 years old and lives in a care home. She is our late dads aunt. She never married or had kids.
Her pension goes straight into her bank.
My sister has her bank card and gives her money with a statement whenever she wants it. Her pension basically pays for her care.
Recently a letter addressed to Margaret arrived at my sisters front door from the pension people stating they had wrongly put £8000 in Margarets bank account and required her signature for her to release the funds back to them.
My sister rang them and refused. Said it was their mistake they put it in there and said she doesn't legally have to give it up.
Margaret does not know this money has gone in there, and my sister has kept statements from her since.
Margarets Will leaves what little possessions she has to my sister and also her money - which Margaret doesn't think is much.
My sister now seems to be spending on credit cards quite drastically and I think she's doing it because she's banking on having the £8000.
I've always been the little sister that has struggled through life, she never even moved out of my dad's house so does not know any stress of renting or moving from one place to another. She hasn't worked for years because her husband has a well paid job, so I don't know why she is using credit cards.
Would I be wrong to report it? Who would I report it to? Is she allowed to keep it?
Would I be wrong to ask for some if she is allowed to keep it?
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoNew Rabbit - pouncing... territorial?
I adopted a year old rabbit from Pets at Home store a week ago. He is a french lop.
At first he was so sweet, nudging me for a stroke and would lay for ages being petted in his hutch.
Wednesday he had his check up and was meant to be neutered on Thursday but at the check up they found he was already done and there was still scabs down there. The vet reckons he was only done a max of 10 days ago.
The lady who dropped him off at the store didn't say anything about him or his health.
Friday he let me hold him for nearly half an hour and he didn't even try to get away, I was talking to him the whole time and I really felt we had made a connection.
Yesterday however I cleaned out his upstairs part of his hutch whilst he was downstairs. I didn't block his ladder off so he could come up and see what I was doing. He came up and then went back down. I finished what I was doing gave him loads of fresh hay and shut the top up.
I was talking to him the whole time.
I then opened the bottom part of hutch where he was and went to pet him and he pounced at me with his front feet!! He didn't growl or anything - just pounced.
I said no that's naughty & went to stroke him again & this time he dived at me :(
I went to move his mineral stone and he dived at my hand he then took the stone off me & literally lobbed it across his hutch.
Now If I touch anything that's his he jumps at my hand. Will this stop at some
point? What am I doing wrong?
Do I perceiver & touch him anyway?

2 AnswersOther - Pets7 years agoPregnancy symptoms after coming off pill...negative test?
Hi All,
Ok I've been on Ovranette over 10 years.
Me and my husband decided it was time I came off
It.
I finished the pack, and had my week period as normal.
For the last 2 week's I have had all the early symptoms of pregnancy.
I was meant to have my period again a week ago on Friday but I haven't come on and the symptoms have got stronger. I did a pregnancy test at home this morning but it was negative.
How long should I wait before seeing a doctor?
Or even retesting?
I would love to be pregnant but I don't want to get my hopes up!!
Has anyone else experienced these symptoms after stopping birth control?
Many thanks!!

1 AnswerSoftware8 years agoIs my wage correct? Tax codes...?
Sorry if I'm being thick with this, maths isn't my strongest point!!
If somebody could break it down I would really appreciate it.
Before minimum wage went up I was on £6.19 an hour.
I work 38 hours a week.
And on those days I have two 30minute breaks.
My Manager has said one of these half hours is paid.
I work and get paid for four 7.5 hour shifts and one 8 hour shift a week.
I take home £867 every 4 weeks and my tax is £53 and NI is £38.
My tax code is 893L. If anyone needs that - I don't know!!
Anyway, does that sound about right? What I pay tax wise and what I take home? The way I'm working it out I should take more home so I must be going wrong somewhere :/
Thank you in advance
3 AnswersOther - Taxes8 years agoEx bf owes me money - he's sold my stuff?
This gets a bit messy...
I left my verbally abusive ex of 7 years over a year ago. We lived in a house rent we rented in both our names however the security deposit (£800) was mine. He wouldn't leave the house and I couldn't leave him in it or I would lose deposit.
I ended up lending him £500 to put a deposit down on a flat for him to leave the house. Which he agreed to.
I then got him to write a letter stating he agreed to pay me back in monthly instalments until it was paid back. He did this.
I couldn't afford the house alone so I moved in with a friend. I took his dog with me. He has not bothered with it since he left. However he took all the furniture out of the house with him - all of which I paid for. I had lost my Dad to cancer 3 months prior and I just didn't have any fight left in me to argue anymore :(
It has been 8 months and for last 5 months he has been dating somebody he has met off the net. I've found out from mutual friends he is moving in with her in October and has paid a 'get out of tenancy fee' which was just over £300. His tenancy was meant to be a year.
He is moving into his gf's home and therefore doesn't need any furniture etc. So he has sold all my belongings on gumtree!! Without telling me. And is still paying me off £50 a month.
Do I have any grounds on this??
I know I don't want the items back but surely he could have just paid me off with what he got for it.
I don't want him in my life anymore and I don't want to have to wait for my money when I know he has some :(
And I'm worried he might try and take the dog if I get back in contact with him, although he doesn't know where I live.
Many thanks,
8 AnswersPersonal Finance8 years agoCitroen C3 - lining under car and tracking Q's?
Hi, I have Citroen c3 sx - 1.4 2003 model
I bought it second hand 6 months ago.
I was driving on motorway yesterday and heard a bang followed by horrible scraping noise and wind whistling loudly through my car.
I came off and parked up to check car immediately to find the lining under my front right corner was hanging down.
Upon inspecting this I noticed that underneath was completely smashed up and has been put back together with tape and patches of plastic screwed on here there and everywhere to hold it all up. Needless to say I'm not happy I have bought it from a car sales garage like that.
I'm a young girl and trusted it was safe and good for me :(
I've rung Citroen who have said I will need whole tray underneath.
How much is this going to cost?? They couldn't quote on phone.
Should I contact the garage I purchased it from about this, where do I stand?
Also my friend has said my tracking on car is out too. I had 4 new tyres on purchase and my front left ones edge is nearly bald.
How much is tracking alignment going to cost??
Love my car just upset I've been duped :(
4 AnswersCitroen8 years agoHow do I stop feeling insecure?
It's my bf that makes me feel this way.
When we are apart I'm fine, although if I don't hear from him I do get anxious.
But when we are together I find myself watching him. Watching him look at other girls, studying his body language.
He has been looking up engagement rings recently.
I know he loves me, but I'm not sure if this is right?
I've never felt so unsure in a relationship before.
He hasn't been the best bf and it's his past actions that have made me feel not good enough.
He says I can't live in past forever and I need to forgive him and start building our foundation back together. But I'm really struggling as I can't seem to forget what he did :(
He says we need to work together and I shouldn't act like his my enemy.
I love being with him but I hate feeling this way.
I want him in my life but I know I don't need him.
How do I get my confidence back??
1 AnswerPsychology8 years agoI've found some old SIM cards...?
If I put these in an unlocked phone will they still contain contacts, pictures, messages etc?
The SIM's aren't registered anymore.
So just wondered if they will still have my old stuff on them?
If I re-registered them does that bring any info back?
They won't fit my phone as they aren't mini SIM's so I can't try.
Thanks for any replies :)

4 AnswersMental Health8 years agoBF lies about watching porn?
Hi All,
First off, I don't have a problem with porn and I have encouraged us to watch it together - which we have done, but still every night/morning we are apart he watches it - whilst he is messaging me a normal conversation.
I don't have a problem with porn whatsoever and when we are talking over text and his responses become 1 or 2 words I know he is busy. So I always say, shall I leave you to it? He always says no!! But I get frustrated that the conversation isn't really happening because he isn't 100% in it. I ask if he is busy watching porn because I will go and he can message me later and he still says no.
But if I check his history he was watching it at that time and I say to him why don't you just say and I will leave you to it. But he goes absolutely berserk at me saying he will never tell me when he is etc!! Sensing that he was embarrassed I left the subject and brought it up again when he had had a drink - he admitted it makes him feel dirty and disgusted with himself when he knows I know he is watching porn.
Yet we have watched it together?
How can I make him see that I don't have an issue with what he is doing but I don't appreciate being lied too over something that I'm not cross about?
I watch porn when we are apart - I have no problem in telling him.
I don't get it...
3 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoWhy does my boyfriend...?
Me and my boyfriend had quite a rocky start.
I found some messages online from him to another girl when we first started talking, after I searched for his username on a chat site he went on.
We split up for a month and then he came back, showed me he wasn't talking to any other girls like that anymore, said he just wanted me and he deleted everything off any chat sites he had been on.
We have now been together a year and thought we were really happy. We have had the serious talk and he has asked we get a place together. He has even started buying things for our home!!
I thought all was great until yesterday when I went on his phone to use Google and had my name come up as his last search. So I looked at his history and he has been searching me for days!!
He won't find anything as I'm careful as to what I put online.
So my question is, why is my boyfriend searching me??
Just seems like such a random thing to do :/ is he looking for some dirt in me? A reason to leave? Does he not trust me? I dunno.
Opinions please!!
He doesn't know I saw it yet.
Thank you :)

Hi,
Me and my boyfriend had quite a rocky start.
I found some messages online from him to another girl at the same time he was talking to me after searching his username for a chat site he was on.
We split up and after a month he came back showed me he was talking to nobody else, deleted all his other acvounts and has put the effort into our relationship. We have been together a year now.
Everything- or so I thought - was fine until yesterday when I went on his phone and saw he has been Google searching my name for a few days...
So my question is, why is my boyfriend searching my name?
I have nothing to hide. I'm starting to think he is looking for revenge or something?
So confused!! Just seems like random thing to do. Maybe he doesn't trust me?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoI've found a wallet...?
Ok was out walking my dog and I have found a wallet. Only has £10. A load of cards, a letter and a driving license.
The letter has same address as driving license.
So I got in my car and drove the 15 Miles to the property to give it back. The lady at the door said nobody of that name lived there. And the man who she bought the house off had a different name as well.
So I drove home.
I'm going to hand it into the bank today as I know by his cards who he banks with. However, I'm tempted to keep the tenner now because I used my petrol to drive to his and back to an address where he didn't live!!
What would you do?
9 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police8 years agoWhy does my boyfriend keep searching skinny celeb girls in their underwear?
I would just like to say that I'm a curvy 12 and he says I'm the 'perfect size for him'
So why does he make me feel **** about myself by checking out all these girls when I'm not around?
Also when ever we are out hand in hand and there's a skinny girl around he stares at them. He says he doesn't but I see him do it. He says he is just looking around, funny that because he doesn't notice and dogs or guys in the high street, only women!!
Wasting my time?
We've been together a year. I'm 26 and he is 30.
6 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships8 years agoShould I start my own charity organisation now or wait?
Hi,
I have had an idea of a charity that I would like to set up. I've done some research and there are some other organisations like it, but they are very basic. I have ideas on how to make it bigger and better and more beneficial to those I want to help.
I am currently 26 and have had a rather big come down over the last year so am trying to make some positives in my life.
I lost my dog of 14 years last May then my partner of 7 years cheated and so I left our home in September, I now rent a room off of a friend and her husband with my dog, and 2 weeks after leaving my ex I lost my Dad to cancer.
I have inheritance coming which I could buy a home out right with.
However, I'm wondering if I should use some of the money towards this idea I have had for many years... My Dad knew about it, I don't think he would disapprove.
I'm at a big crossroads in my life, I work 3 part time jobs, retail shops, supermarkets and cleaning to make up for being made redundant at my full time job, so it's not like I have an amazing career or anything. I could drop one job to make time for this.
I'm just not 100% certain on whether to do it or not?
I'm finding it hard to consider all the pro's and con's.
Any advice is appreciated.
Many thanks
