So this morning, I turn on my laptop to find that the norton 360 pinned to my taskbar was just like a white page, and when I clicked it nothing would happen. When I right clicked it, and pressed "Open Norton 360", this message would come up (At the time):

Then I went on the site and managed to find a bot to "talk to" (https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/norton-core/cu... I reset my laptop - same problem. Then, as advised, I ran the following:

Which unistalled all my Norton products, then conveniently had some sort of "error". So now I'm at a point where I have no Norton security/antivirus of any sort on my laptop.

Now, my Norton CD can install Norton antivirus on one more laptop (I can install it on a total of 3 laptops altogether), and I'd rather not waste it on the same laptop again. I want to install the last one on another laptop instead.

By reinstalling from the CD, will I be using up the chance of using it on my final laptop?

Is there anything else I can do from here?

Ok So I recently got homebrew channel on my wii and managed to get usb loader GX (or something along those lines) and something like CFG - I can't remember their names but i think they're well known USB loaders. Anyway, I was advised to buy a HDD and I did. Ii formatted it to NTFS and plugged it into the wii and it doesn't seem to be detected at all. It's weird because my pen drive (2 GB) - I also did the same thing with - works perfectly on the wii, but the Hard drive just seems to turn on and off and isn't detected by the wii. It migh also be useful to know that when i put the Hard drive in the wii first, it worked for about 2-3 minutes, then suddenly stopped.

Any ideas guys?

UPDATE: basically, it seems that my hdd is not responding to wii - i used CFG and it detected it but the hdd is not responding to it. the light on the hdd just turns off.

What kind of degree would I be able to do? I'm looking into doing something science-y in University degree. I'd love to do medicine but I think it's just way too out of my reach so I just want to do something more realistic? I know for medicine you need a lot of A*'s in GCSE's which is unlikely i'm looking at a lot of A's and some B's which probably isn't ideal for medicine.

So yeh, what kind of degrees would you guys recommend if I get say 2 A's and 2 B's in all subjects? And what kind of jobs would these possibly lead to?

I'm currently not doing any humanities and im in year 11. I have however done 50% of my RE gcse in year 9, so I can do the other 50% this year, and complete it. However, for my first 50% i didn't do so well and got a B. I'm hoping to get an overall A, if anything. RE doesn't seem to interest me too.. and I'm clearly not very good at it (As I got a B.. :/).

To add to the pressure, I'm doing my A levels for a particular subject one year early. Furthermore, I have all of my other gcse's to do too..

Now, my dilemma is this: I want to do RE gcse as I have heard many universities and jobs are looking for a humanity as a GCSE (IF ANYONE CAN CONFIRM THIS, THAT WOULD BE GREAT!).

Should I take the pressure on and do my RE gcse, along with my A-level and other GCSE's? Or shall I leave it? Will GOOD universities still accept me if I don't do RE?

I broke my laptop's screen recently and there's ink coming from the inside of the LCD screen and is spreading.. I want to get a new screen (And fit it myself as it is way too expensive to get it done by someone else and it doesn't look like rocket science, even though i'm only 15..)

So anyway, is this site which i want to get it from legit? can i trust them not to steal my money?

If not, can anyone direct me to a site which sells maybe cheap laptop screens?

i have one more question for the people good with.. laptops: Does it matter if i use an LED screen for my laptop instead of an LCD screen? What difference does it make? which is better?

I came across this question in a maths paper unit 3 edexcel GCSE. I'm supposed to draw the lines: X^2 + Y^2 = 9 AND X + Y = 1

I know im supposed to re-arrange and that to get Y the subject (I think) but with the quadratic one it would be y^2 = 9-X^2 and to find y you would have to square root the 9-X^2 part. But I cant do that seeing as it is a NON-CALCULATOR paper!!! Very confused exam is on monday please help???!!!

Error 138 (net::ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED): Unable to access the network.

That's the error message. I've searched the internet and found the common solutions: Reinstall google chrome and to Re-Add it onto windows firewall/Norton 360 (My antivirus software). I've tried these but they don't seem to fix it.

I've discovered that turning the firewall OFF makes google chrome work absolutely PERFECTLY. Do I need firewall to be On, or can i just leave it Off? Or is there another way to fix this?
