Could someone please tell me why my optical audio cable does not fit between these two ports?

3 AnswersHome Theater10 years agoHow do I get out of gallery mode when I read articles on the blogging websites Gizmodo.com and Lifehacker.com?
I have recently become of a fan of the technology news blogs of Gizmodo and Lifehacker. But both of the sites are set up the same way. Sometimes when I click an article it tells me it just shows me the pictures associated with that article. Sometimes there is a preceding paragraph that asks me to switch out of gallery mode and I click it; other times there isn't that option. For example, I am trying to read the most recent "Top iPhone Apps of the Week" article on Gizmodo.com and the article keeps on opening in gallery mode when I click it:

How can I open this article and actually read the words associated with the pictures? This has been an ongoing problem for me. Thank you!
1 AnswerOther - Internet1 decade agoI want to be able to boot the Chrome OS without running Windows. Is this possible?
I know virtualization images of the Chrome Operating System for VMWare software and VirtualBox software operating system exist but I am under the impression that I still have to boot my Windows 7 operating system and run the virtualization software before I can start using Chrome. Is there any way I can run the Chrome OS without booting Windows?

5 AnswersHair1 decade agoHow does one make use of an Optical Digital Audio port on an LCD TV and a surround system with analog audio?
Hey, I am looking to set up my sound system to work with my LCD TV's Optical Digital Audio Output port. My surround sound system has analog audio; it has separate jacks for each channel (subwoofer, right, left back speaker, etc.). Is there any way I can get my Dolby 5.1 surround sound system to work with my Xbox 360, which is connected with composite cables to my TV? In other words, do I have to get a converter (from digital to analog) to get surround sound audio to work with my surround sound system? If so, which is the best converter for the money? Will all the separate channels work correctly? Finally, if I use the Optical Digital Audio Output port on my LCD TV, then will the surround sound work for whatever is playing on the TV (For example, if I am playing 360 using this setup and I want to watch DISH, which is connected to the TV like my 360, will the surround sound work?)? Thanks in advance, and a worthy 10 points to the best answer!
1 AnswerHome Theater1 decade agoIn Halo 3, if you are playing on an Xbox Live guest account, will you be able to talk into your own headset?
If a headset is connected into your very own controller that you are using, does it let you talk to others if you are a guest of another Xbox Live account? I know that in Halo 2, only the main account was allowed to speak into the headset...
