So my friend and I are writing a Grey's Anatomy spin off just for fun and I'm having trouble coming up with a good name for the show....

So, I am working on starting a book and I was wondering if anyone had tips on how if I should start right in the action or start before the action. I am only giving few details because (Not that you're criminals) But I don't want anyone to take my idea.

The main character is a female, about 16 years old and she lives in a dystopian society that is run by a royal council. Every time a member of this council dies, they hold a competition to pick who will fill the empty spot.

The special thing about this society is that everyone has magic based on four elements. So four competitors, each wielding a different element, from every province is selected from a long list of families that contain royal bloodlines. The competitors are thrown beyond the fences that protect the country from the human-eating monsters, so the ones that are selected have to fight each other as well as not get killed by the monsters.

Later in this book it is discovered that everything they knew about the elements was a lie and there is corruption in the council from it. So this whole thing happens.

So, if you guys have any ideas of how I could start the story out that would be great. I have tried to start it, but I can never seem to start it right.

(Also, the MC lives with her foster parents on a farm, in case you wanted to know)

(I know this sort of sounds live The Hunger Games or Divergent and that is because it was inspired by those books.)

I am interested in purchasing a juvenile leopard gecko as a pet. I don't know much about this animal or reptiles in general. I have recently been wanting a lizard and read somewhere that this gecko is good for beginners.

I really just want to know a list of things I will need to make sure my gecko will be healthy and happy. If you have any information on if the enclosure needs to be heated (at what temperature), the minimum amount of gallons the aquarium should be and their diet. If you have any other helpful information or any supplies that would be good to have it would be great if you could tell me. Thanks!

I just posted a question exactly like this but I need to specify a bit more. I mean the MARVEL Avengers not the british televsion show. It doesnt have to just be from the movie they could be from the comics too. Please tell me why dont just say- Iron man. My favorite (once again) is a tie between Hawkeye and Black Widow. I really like them because they dont have super powers they are just really skilled. I also like them becuase they are a good team and they actually have a history.
