I am looking for a new wireless router for my home broadband connection at a cheap cost.

I'm a little confused with which one to buy.

Requirements:-

should support Hathway Broadband Connection

Range should be good enough for a 1BHK flat(600 sq ft. approx.)

The options I have found are as follows-

1)D-Link DSL-2520U ADSL2 Ethernet/USB Combo Router

2)TP-LINK TL-WR740N 150Mbps Wireless N Router

Hello friends,

I have a laptop and when i press "Fn+volume button",volume increses slightly and suddenly doesnt increase or decrease and after sometime it automatically responds.Same happens with brightness also.

So,is there problem in windows 8 or in my laptop?

If it is windows 8 problem then should updating solve it?

There is a problem in my friend's PC.He has IDE hard disk in his pc and I can install XP by cd but when it prompts for restarting in 10 seconds or press enter to restart and complete remaining process,then if I boot from cd then It just prompts press any key to boot from CD and procedure is restarted

Main problem here is that if I select to boot from HDD to complete remaining 45 minutes remaining process of windows xp installation then it just shows blank black screen with blinking " _ ".

I can install XP half and cant resume remaining installation.Instead of that I am just getting blank black screen.

What should I do now? IDE hard disk is shown in bios.But cannot boot from it.But can create or delete partitions in first half of windows XP installation process.It shows all my partitions.

So,what is the cause?Is it problem of CMOS battery because I am shown a message "F2 to load default values " and I have to change date and time again and again.

I have ASUS k55vm sx120D laptop purchased from pune.I am experiencing overheating issues.While playing the game "NFS most wanted 2012",my nvidia gt 630m temperatures are rising uptop 84 degree celcius.

The bottomleft part of my laptop is overheating.

What should I do for this otherwise it may burn it down.

today due to shorting my motherboard and processor got shorted and i have to buy new motherboard and processor

my current config is

nvidia geforce 8400gs ddr2 pcie

transcend 4gb ddr2 ram 800mhz

hitachi sata hard disk

lg dvd writer

circle case with circle psu

fried intel dg31pr motherboard and fried intel core2duo e7500 at 2.93Ghz

so,help me in choosing new motherboard and processor

plz tell me intel motherboard and processor dont suggest other brands

also,tell me combo motherboard with processor as i have limited budget?

so,now is my ram is waste because ddr2 is older and i dont see availability of ddr2 motherboard and core2duo processor?

should i go for intel i3-2120 with a intel motherboard in combo and get a ddr3 ram?

I need help from yahoo members.

Yesterday,suddenly one sound from high to low level came from my pc and after that my pc is not showing anything nor even bios at all.

When I contacted local pc manufacturer,he said there is problem with either processor or motherboard.

So,what should I do now?

My motherboard is Intel DG31PR motherboard

and processor is Intel core2duo e7500 2.93 GHz.

I am confused and dont know what to do?

My motherboard and processor warranty is also expired.Warranty was for only 3 years and problem came after 3 years and a month.

Will intel replace my processor and motherboard?
