Ok, so i took your guys' advice and spiced it up a lil. They do have faults but im not gunna list them.

(P.S Night's real name is Nyxlin, named after the goddess of night, Nyx, but she hates the name so she goes by Night)

Night - Night is an odd looking girl with white, almost translucent skin, which glows slightly next to her shiny jet black hair that ends mid waist. To top it all off, she has a beautiful face with purple tinted eyes. Next to all her features she is abnormally skinny. Not anorexic skinny but still skinny.

Braxton – Braxton is a very quiet, dark kinda guy. He has a very angular defined face that is pale as a ghost and snuggled by a swoop of thick, shaggy, dark chocolate brown hair that swoops around his ears, almost reaching his shoulders. Next to that, he has stunningly beautiful brown eyes. Lastly, he is slim, tall, kinda fit and has the slightest hint of abs. Not quite there yet.

Gea – Gea has always been the quiet one. Her extremely pretty face is always first noticed, a think wave of curly light brown hair draped around it. Her eyes, the color of fresh Caribbean waters. She has always been skinny, but at the same time she has a curvy body. Her tan skin making her look almost like a blue eyed Mexican.

Jet – Jet is the brave, resilient type. His caramel colored hair is choppy, swinging around his head in a bowl like haircut that is scruffy and shaggy looking. Next to that, his forest green eyes could bore a whole right through you. He is tall, slim, also has an angular face with a defined jaw. He is strong, but sadly, he has no abs.

Keinen – -Keinen is your average little boy. His curly golden locks shine perfectly next to his baby blue eyes and creamy skin. He is small, and has the cutest baby face. Keinen is also blind. Due to his blindness, he can see pictures from others minds. If one person was looking at an ice cream stand, he could see it through their mind. (pretty cool huh?)

Jinx – Don't let her name fool you, she is practically an angel. She has a round face that is covered in red freckles. Her reddish-brownish brick colored hair is wavy and thick bext to mossy green eyes. She is short for her age and curvy. Not extremely skinny like Night.

Frankie- Frankie is the one always smiling and talking. His very cute but at the same time handsome face stands out on his tan, Mexican like skin and chocolate brown eyes. He has freckles running across his nose and a little under his eyes. He is short for his age but very thin. Frankie and Braxton are the only two that are related, and they act like best friends.

These are my characters, please no negative comments, i just want your opinion and or advice, THANKS!

Night – Almost purplish eyes, ghost white skin, jet black hair, skinny, thin, medium height, has a very pretty face and is 16

Braxton- shaggy black hair that falls into forest green eyes, tan but at the same time pale skin, is tall slim, sexy, has sexy abs. 16

Gea – Long, curly brown hair, tan skin, sea blue eyes, thin but curvy at the same time, kinda short, has tan skin and a cute face and is 15

Jet- long shaggy light brown hair, hazel eyes, tall slim, sexy, has abs, is very strong, is tan and very cute in the face. 16

Keinen – Kinda long kinda short baby blonde hair, light blue eyes, pale skin, has a young baby face, only because he is 6

Jinx – Reddish, brownish wavy long hair, ice blue eyes, tan skin, freckles, is small, petite, and skinny, has a cute baby face and is around the age of 13

Frankie- Has kinda long, shaggy chestnut brown hair, freckles across his nose, has a cute baby face, is around the age of 11, chocolate brown eyes.

Rory Vanessa Erickson – Rory has long, slightly wavy chestnut brown hair, deep chocolate brown eyes, is about the same height as the twins, has a very beautiful face, full lips low cheekbones. Thin, cute sleek body.

Ok, im not asking any ideas on what to write or any of that crap. I just need to know how to start it. Like do i start it with dialog, or do i start describing something, im confused. Ive looked at other already published books for help but im still not sure.....what do you think i should do??

My story is about a 20 year old named Karina. She is fresh out of college, moved into an apartment with her perfect boyfriend Brady, and has a great life. Everything is perfect until a little incident goes on. Karina gets unexpectdly pregnant. She begins to get worried about this baby. She decieds to keep it and her boyfriend even wants to get married and start a family. Around 7 months pregnant, she gets into a car crash, forcing pre-mature labor. will the baby survive? Will Karina survive the crash? I have absolutely no idea!!

Tell me if i need something more in the story, its gunna be a novel, if you want to give me any ideas im open for that, yeah...im open for criticism too

p.s: The purple energy is this special enegry that can kill a regular human..but the chracters have like extra special Dna that makes them different! and they hav powers!

“ Please stop” I mumbled looking up into the eyes of the man, cruel, cold, heartless. Purple energy twisted and turned, forming such a beautiful ball of electricity in his hand. I bit my lip, lowering my raised hands. I dropped to my knees, covered in sweat, coated with dried blood, stained with bright violet scars. The man lowered his hand as well, his eyes shifting back and fourth. They looked left to right, back to back, spinning so fast, so quickly, his whole eye soon turning a sickening shade of black. I took a step back ward, shielding my face. The black seemed to pierce my skin, digging deeper and deeper into my already weakened flesh. His hand swung upwards, taking an unexpected turn. His obscene hand slammed into my cheek, sending a white hot burst of pain across my face and down my neck. At the same time, my anklet exploded, sending bone quivering jolts done my spine, forcing my back into and unnatural position. My back twisted against the searing shock, protesting, screaming, crying in agony. My knees buckled, sending me face first into the hard concrete floor, body jerking.

The black eyed man only laughed, his yellow teeth rattling around in his mouth.

“ Silly girl.” I swallowed hard, lifting myself up. “ Looks like your a purple monster” He held his hands out in front of him, mimicking a monster. My fingertips, shot to my face, blindly scanning for any hint of a change. I pressed my lips together and looked up at him. His bitter black eyes, boring a hole through me. My knees shook as I completely stood up. My pulse beat quick like it was in a hurry. I took a step forward and my whole body shook, like I touched an electric socket with a wet finger, like placing a on an open wire. The quivering stopped within an instant and I relaxed. My muscles ached from being worked, my open wounds dripped blood, creating a defined scarlet puddle. My anklet beeped twice then went silent.

“ Stay back” He grumbled. My eyes narrowed, what was he going to do? His greenish finger crept towards the button. The small red button with a lightning bolt across the top. I raised my hands in surrender. Enough shock had caressed through my body today.

“ Get back in” He pointed a yellow fingernail at the large room which held all experiments captive. When I say experiments, I mean all the kids experimented on. I trudge to the entrance, surprised to see it empty. Even Dimitri was absent. The black eyed man pulled the door shut, a loud clank following. Water dripped from the ceiling, crumbs filled the floor, and thankfully, a tray of bread and soup sat in the corner. All eaten except for one tin can of cold vegetable soup and a small slice of bread. I scampered over to the tray, snatching up the food. gulping down the cold ingredients. I placed the can on the ground as the second metal door opened. The black eyed man ushered A small blonde into the room. Her long blonde hair was messy, next to her watery blue eyes. Sickly green patches covered her body. She wiped a tear from her cheek and grasped the ends of her long, dirt smudged dress. She Took in a shaky breath, her small eyes wandering to mine.

“ Oh thank goodness!” She gasped, practically diving at me. I jumped in surprise when she grasped my arm, tears spilling down her pale, green spot covered face.

“ Wha-What?” I said cautiously, stepping away from this crazy girl.

“ They-they torture you” Her fingers tightening around my forearm. I nodded, my mouth gaping at her. She let go, quickly pacing around the room. Blood ran down her arm from a cut on her shoulder. Her words didn't sound like a question, more like a statement.

“ Don't they do that to you?” She stopped pacing long enough t nod, biting her lip.

“ They shower me with water, which causes..” Her finger runs down her wrist, motioning towards the green splotches. “ They shoot you with purple stuff” My fingers jumped back to my face and she resumed pacing.

“ Just stop!” I shout at her. She turned to me, big blue eyes, watering again. “Lets start over” The blonde gril gave a swift nod, pushing her overgrown bangs from her green face.

“ Hi” I smiled extending my hand “ My name is Sage”

“ Halle Redwind” She accepted my hand, giving it a weak shake. Halle turned, and began pacing again, her barefeet, making a quiet shuffle now and then.

Chapter 1 -

“ Please stop” I mumbled. I looked up into the eyes of the man. Cruel, cold, heartless. Purple energy twisted and turned, forming such a beautiful ball of aura in his hand. I bit my lip, lowering my raised hands. I dropped to my knees, covered in sweat, coated with dried blood, stained with bright purple scars. The man lowered his hand as well, his eyes shifting back and fourth. They looked, left to right, back to back, spinning so fast. So quickly, his whole eye soon turning a sickening shade of black. I took a step back ward, shielding my face. The black seemed to pierce my skin, digging deeper and deeper into my already weakened flesh. The hand swung upwards, taking an unexpected turn. His green fingernails, slammed into my cheek, sending to purple energy across my face and down my neck. My anklet let off an electric shock at the same time, forcing my back into and unnatural position. I was forced forward, standing on my tiptoes to relieve the searing jolt. The black eyed man laughed.

“ Silly girl” He shook his head, his eyes turning back to their original puke green. I dropped down to where my arms were the only thing supporting me. The shocks continued. Only making me cringe even more. I clenched my jaw, hoping to find my sweet spot. The time in pain where you just go numb.

“ Stop” A voice commanded. Within an instant, the pulsing energy came to a halt. My elbows buckleed, sending me straight to the floor, taking in the most air as possible.

“ Shes had enough”

A man emerged from the shadows, a pink bundle wrapped in my thick arms. “ Send her back with the others” His cruel, scarred face met mine. “ What did you do to her face?” My fingertips, scanned the surface of my skin, blindly searching for any sign of difference. The use to be black eyed man shifted his gaze to me.

“ The Qualfine light struck her face Sir” The man known as 'Sir' nodded.

“ Just put her back” They black eyed man nodded, watching Sir leave. The heavy steel door shut with a loud clank, the black eyed man rushing towards me. His hand waved through my hair, roughly yanking it upwards. I got the memo, quickly standing up. He pushed me through the steel door and into a large room. With one last shove, he forced me in. Of course with my clumsiness, I tripped, landing straight on my already messed up face. There was a shrill giggle from the corner, then a small chuckle from in front of me. I raised my aching head. Why couldn't I be alone in a room? A small girl with bleach blonde hair, sat cuddled in the corner, a shaggy haired boy sat across the room, in wide open area.

“ What happened to your face?” The blonde giggled. I sat up and grunted. She had a cute baby face, and wore a long dirt covered dress. She was very pretty except for the patches of sickly green skin covering her arms, neck, and probably other places.

“ Your whole face is purple” The boy murmured, not moving his head to even glance in my direction.

“ It looks like energy, scarred along your cheek and neck” The blonde shifted in her corner, twisting her hair between her fingers. My hand drifted mt my face. What did it really look like. There was a sudden scarping of glass against the concrete floor. I looked over at a long, shard of glass. Shard from a mirror. I picked up the glass and held in in front of me. In the reflection was a surprsing face. Her small, gray eyes were droopy and lined with dark circles, hey black hair was limp and lifeless, all leading up to the complex pattern of circles and zigzag purple scars. The skin was a light shade of lilac, covered in jagged dark lines. I bit my lip and the reflection mimicked me. I winced and dropped the shard, not wanting to ever look at her weak, lifeless face again.

Im writing a story, about extra specials, ive already posted a few questions about it but i need some more back up about this. Most of my chracters have powers but some dont, i need powers please!!
