Computer cord that is blue on the end question?
so you know those cords that are usually blue on the end, the kind that are usually hooked from a computer monitor to the tower that have the little screw things attached.
well I have one that has the blue part on both sides and I was wondering if I can hook it from a tower(a desktop computer basically) into my laptop, I don't want to try it for fear something will break but thought I might as well ask

Suppose the pulley is suspended by a cord.
There is a simply pulley(no extra mechanical advantage or anything like that) with a 1.2 kg weight hanging on one side and a 3.2 kg weight hanging on the other. The rope is assumed to be massless and frictionless.
Determine the tension in this cord after the masses are released and before one hits the ground. Ignore the mass of the pulley and cords..
As much explanation as possible would be nice, and please don't just refer me to a website or something.
Thanks for reading

A rock is kicked horizontally at 15 m/s from a hill with a 45 degree slope.
The hill has a 45 degree slope from the ground and it is kicked downhill.
How long does it take for the rock to hit the ground(on the hill)?
This is possible so don't just tell me it isn't, and don't just refer me to a website, I want an answer, or specific advice on how to do it.
