  • Canidae for bladder stones?

I have a 7 yr old female Shih Tzu who had bladder stone surgery last summer. The stones were 100% calcium. Post surgery, she's been on a prescription diet: *Royal Canin Urinary SO kibble. *(Her stool is gelatin-like and sometimes bloody on the prescription diet).

Recently in March, it was discovered that she has developed a bladder stone. She was given antibiotics and instead of rushing into surgery, her vet wants to monitor it and retest in May.

My concern is that the prescription diet is not working and I am now looking for an alternate diet. I've read wonderful things about *Canidae and was wondering if it's a good idea to switch her to it.

*I've emailed Canidae and am currently waiting for their reply and everytime I call, they are "closed."

    Thanks in advance!

  • Does anyone know the name of this flower?

When I was a little girl, we had a plant that grew little almond-shaped white/light yellow flower buds. I would pluck one of the closed buds and put it behind my ear. It would give off the best scent... it smelled like banana popsicles. :) I would love to add this plant to my tropical yard, but I do not know the name of the plant. Your help would be greatly appeciated! Thank you in advance!
