  • Married, But Dreaming About Ex?

I have been married for two years now but I still think about my ex-boyfriend and dream of him often. My ex and I began dating at 15, we were very young, but he was my best friend and my first love. We broke up at 18 for good. His choice, not mine. I was very much in love and didn't want us to end at all. He just wasn't ready I suppose. Anyway, 3 years later I married my current husband. I loved him very much in the beginning, but our marriage hasn't been very good for quite a while now. I don't feel for him like I used to. During the entire time that we have been married, I have found myself thinking of my ex, and dreaming of him. But now the dreams are becoming more frequent and each time, they are extensions of the previous dreams. In last night's dream, my ex asked me to leave my husband and marry him. In the dream, I wanted to do just that. I don't really understand what all of this means though. Is this because I really never got over him because of him being my first love and me not wanting our relationship to end? Or is my subconscious trying to tell me what I want out of my relationship that I don't have? I am a very loyal person and I really don't believe in divorce, even though I have considered it because of the way things have been going, and I feel almost wrong for thinking about my ex and for dreaming about him...and for missing him. I would just like to know what these dreams are trying to tell me. Any suggestions? Sorry so lengthy.

  • Synthetic western saddles?

Hi all. I'm looking for a good quality western synthetic saddle and can't seem to find any. All of the "best" brands that I have heard of seem to only carry english saddles. So my question is, does anyone know where to find (and which brand is the best) synthetic western saddles?

  • Horse people, have you seen....?

    Have you seen this site?

    http://www.nj-feedlot-horse-rescue.com/

If you like what you see, would you be willing to spread the word and help these horses?

If so, you can look up Camelot Horse Weekly on Facebook for more info.

LQ: Have you ever seen a horse play halter tag? If so, share your story.

  • Have any of you used the bitless bridle?

If you have, I'd like to know about your experience with it. I am not a fan of the bit, and in the future when I purchase my own horse, I am seriously considering the bitless bridle. I have read that a lot of horses accept it easily and readily, while some do not. So I'm just wondering what your experience has been with it.

  • What has your experience with Quarter Horses been like?

I've been looking into the breed, as a few years from now I plan to purchase my first horse. I've read a lot about them and have seen that they have wonderful personalities, and that their stocky frames are great for trail riding. I've also read that they are excellent beginner horses. I am only interested in trail riding and just having fun with my future horse. No shows or anything like that. I have not had any experience with this breed, just drafts, so I was wondering what you guys could tell me about them! Any information is greatly appreciated. I never take to articles alone because I believe that in order to get a well rounded view of a particular breed, you have to talk to the owners, so no rude or "do your research" answers please.

  • Tucker endurance saddles and draft horses?

Does anyone know if a wide Tucker saddle will fit most draft horses, or is the harder to find extra wide saddle needed? Lets say its for a Belgian. Also, what kind of saddle pad would look best? Do you buy the Western square pads, or one similar to the English version?

  • Draft/Warmblood horse owners, tack question?

In a few (3 to 4) years from now, I plan to adopt a draft horse from a local draft horse rescue. They use all sorts of tack on their horses, but I am trying to do some research as to which kind of tack would be most comfortable for the horse, with the exception of a bridle. I plan to go bitless. I usually ride Western just because I feel more secure in the bigger saddle, but I am willing to go English as well. I know that English saddles tend to be lighter than Westerns, but for a horse so big, I'm not really sure that it matters. What do you guys suggest as far as saddles and pads, blankets and halters...etc. Have you found something that seems both comfortable to you and your horse without having to spend an arm and both legs? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. The horse will be used only as a pet and a trail horse. No shows or anything fancy.

  • If you are on birth control and you take a pregnancy test?

Will it affect the results? For a few weeks now, I feel...well pregnant. I am on birth control and I know it is highly unlikely, but sometimes I don't always take it as well as I should (forget a pill here and there, don't take it at the same time every day) and I'm having all the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant with my now 1 year old, minus the constant vomitting. I feel nauseated a lot, have very little appetite, and usually I only want one thing to eat and everything else just puts me off. I'm tired quite a bit as well. I know that it could just be stress, but something in my gut is telling me that I should take one just to be sure. Sometimes I get moving sensations in my lower belly too (probably just gas, but I know cases where it was thought to be gas and wasn't!) I've been having my periods, but they aren't normal for me. They are much lighter and shorter than they have been and this started about three months ago, and I haven't been on the birth control long enough for them to be making them shorter and lighter according to my obgyn. So, basically what I want to know is that, if I do take a test just to be sure, will the birth control result in a false positive? Should I even take one? I've been putting it off and just telling myself I'm just sick or stressed but this past week I've just had that nagging feeling. Maybe I'm going crazy. I don't know. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Which draft horse is best for me?

In a few years from now, I plan on buying my first horse. I love drafts and I know that I don't want any other type. I'm not a small lady, hopefully I'll be smaller by then, but I'm not going to be that 120lb girl who can ride an Arabian all day long. So I've narrowed it down to 3. Belgian, Percheron, or Spotted Draft. I have very little experience with Belgians, they are just so big and though I've heard that they are gentle giants, I was always a little intimidated by them. I haven't been around a Percheron either, but I've heard good things about them as well. I rode a Spotted Draft for two years as a trail guide before her owner sent her to auction. Very sad time :( If I would have known that she was going up for sale (I moved out of the state) I no doubt would have taken her. She was a wild one though, and though most of them have a wonderful temperament, I think that maybe I want a little bigger. My plans are only for pleasure at this time, probably trail and little arena riding every now and then. Possibly entering the show ring a little later on down the road, but not for anything like dressage. Maybe just halter. I need a loving, easy keeper. Which breed would be best as far as temperament and care goes? I know that all of them can handle a lot of work, so I'm not worried about that. I'm not going to work it to death. But I do want a forever horse, so I'm wondering about aging too. Any advice you can give would be great! Love the color of a Spotted draft, but love how strong and powerful the Belgians look. Percherons are nice too. I just can't decide!

  • Is it time to leave for good?

My husband and I have only been married for about a year and half and already it's bad. Maybe not to him or a lot of other people out there, but to me it is. We have a 1 year old baby together and there is no doubt he loves his baby. But I feel like that's it. He never wants to spend any time with me. To him going grocery shopping counts as spending quality time with each other. Not to me. He won't watch TV with me, I have to beg just to get him to watch a movie with me. I've always wanted to be with him and please him and meet his needs. But he hasn't done much ever to meet mine. All he wants to do is spend all of his time down in his basement on his computer (and no it usually isn't porn related, but recently that was a little problem). I've wanted to leave so many times now, and I keep getting the whole "I love you and I care about you and I don't want to lose you. I'll try really hard to make things better if you just give me the chance" speech. And I've fallen for it. It never changes. It's better for a few days and then it's the same things over and over. Some wives are ok living a separate life from their spouses but I'm not. I feel like the only reason he wants me around is because A) he loves his son so much and B) because he's in his mid 30s, and he feels so low about himself that he's convinced no one else would want him. I'm so tired of this. Is it time for me to leave for good this time?

  • US Career Institute, does anyone know?

I wanted to take their Massage Therapy course online. The only issue is that the 200 hours of hands on training is only available in Colorado. I live in Maryland. There is no way I can go to Colorado. It seems as if this part is optional, but it's confusing because it also says that this is the final course and it prepares you for graduation. Does anyone know if you can get the diploma without the 200 hours of hands on training?

  • In order to get a bachelors degree?

Does anyone know if you have to have an associates degree before you can get a bachelor's degree? The reason I ask is because I'm looking to major in pyschology but I can only take classes online. All online schools I have found do not have an associate degree program. They start with bachelor's but do not state whether or not you have to have an associate degree.

  • What is the time frame to have the Acknowledgement Of Paternity amended in Maryland?

My husband supposedly has a nine year old son with his ex and is paying child support. He signed the birth certificate because he was led to believe he was the father. Later on after the child was born, it became clear that the mother herself was not exactly sure who the father was, and seeing as how the child looks nothing like the father, (although our 6 month old son does), and no one else in his family, we are all skeptical that this 9 year old is not his child and are looking into a paternity test. I saw that some fathers can still be held legally responsible even if DNA test proves he is not the father depending on the time frame in which the test is done. Currently he is not court ordered to pay child support, he just does. I would hate for him to have to pay for a child that may very well not be his.

  • Is it legal to hang and skin deer in your front yard in Ohio?

My neighbor just did this and it's soooo disgusting. They just had it hanging there with a spotlight on it for everyone to see. I just can't believe something like that is legal. This is the middle of the city. It's not farm country. I can't find any place to find out whether it's legal or not. Help please.
