  • Pregnant and feeling very cautious of strangers?

I'm 34 weeks along with #2. Going in public alone is starting to become very stressful to me. The problem? I don't trust the weirdo lady that was looking at my belly. I instinctively refuse to turn my back to her. It's not just her, it's every strange person that may have glanced at my belly. I'm worried someone wants to steal my baby. I'm not a nut case. I'm actually very normal, in a great marriage, with a great business! I don't remember feeling this when I was pregnant with my first. :( Has people gotten so bad that I've lost my ability to trust? I dunno... Any words of encouragement? Anybody experience this? Thanks

  • How to respond to my insecure husband?

Ugh, I recently came to the conclusion I let myself go.... As far as not paying close attention to my hair, clothes and make up. Depressed and feeling unattractive I have been slowly adding new trendy clothes to my wardrobe, and playing with differnt styles for my long hair. Well I've been telling him that I feel like I'm a part of society... Trying to explain why my "makeover" means so much to me. Today on the way to church he asks me "are you trying to hook up with someone?" He actually used a specific person. That 1) is our house church pastor 2) the husband of my good friend 3) I only want my husband. I was MAD as hell. Cause he is noticing my efforts as a bad thing. Sigh.... How I feel like he prefers me to not give a crap how I look. Not to wear nice clothes, not to wear my hair down, to just go back to the mental prison I was in before... What should I do???

  • Agh, I'm in the middle of my mom and step dad HELP!!!!!?

My mother is married to my step dad (whom both I love and care about), recently my mom decided to start a new relationship with another man. All the sudden she decided that moving to another state to be with the other man and lie to my step dad. I honestly didn't think that my step dad loved or cared for my mom that much, so visiting him the last couple days and seeing him cry, and wondering why she had to go has really emotionally hurt me. She doesn't want me to tell him anything. but if he point blank asked me... "Did your mother go to be with another man?" I know in my heart that not lying to him is the RIGHT thing to do. But her family has warned me "you better not tell him nothing" I LOVE my mom, but I'm not going to sit there and lie.

    IS there a right answer?

    Thanks!

  • I need a clever CHEAP idea to give my husband a new wedding band for Christmas?

I bought my husband a new wedding band for christmas. In 2006 for Christmas he proposed to me. So my plan is to give him a nice new band with a letter saying "5 years ago today you gave me a ring, asking me to spend the rest of my life with you. Its my turn to give you a ring to show you how much I love you!!!

I know this sounds corny, but I feel like he needs a nice new band after he has beat up the last one. I don't just wanna give it to him in a ring box. I thought about a travel coffee cup and tie a string to the lid when he opens it the ring will dangle with the note inside. Problem, I can't find a decent coffee cup he will like. Any creative ideas that doesn't involve food, or anything inappropriate?

  • Painting contract question?

I own a painting business and we did a metal handrail in may of 2010 we provide a 12 month warranty on labor and material. The client emailed me today 11/07/2011 that the railing looks good, except there is one rust spot. Should I charge to fix the spot? I only ask because the warranty has expired and I don't think we have a problem to fix it for free. (Have not seen the spot yet) I don't want her to think that every time she sees a tiny problem that we will drop what we are doing to do "touch ups" what if she had someone do pressure washing this summer? Anyways I'm willing to look into contract lawyers but I thought I'd start with asking you guys what I should do! Thanks

  • What are the pros and cons? 2 puppies Vs 1 puppy?

We just got a chihuahua puppy 8 weeks old. We had a hard time choosing between him and his brother. My puppy checked out great at the vet today and I told the lady that if she still had the other one today I would take him too. She called me and asked if I still want him, of course I want him, but could you let me know some pros and cons of having 2 puppies or 1 alone? The obvious is my puppy won't be alone when I leave. But the con is that its 2x the vet bills. a pro when my daughter has one... I can play with the other. Con 2x the poop and potty training (not that bad) what do you think? I have a 4 year old with down syndrome and currently trying to get pregnant. I can afford them and I have lots of patients.

  • Munchhausen by Proxy syndrome- do you think my friend has this syndrome?

Here is a little back ground. She has 4 kids. The last one was born after mine (my daughter has multiple health issues from down syndrome) she used to be totally normal (my friend) but since her daughter was born she has been pushing tests on the doctor. She claimed that her baby was too fussy and because she puked a a little more than normal, she has reflux, and when the doctors could not back that up, she made them run a bunch of tests like for example a blood test for down syndrome and a spinal tap on her 1 month old baby. Then the doc heard a small hole in the babies heart so then she pushed a echo... Okay. But the doc told her the hole is totally normal and to just watch it. 3 years later she returned to the doc claiming that her daughter won't eat, and is falling asleep in strange places. So the new primary care doc hears the hole and all the sudden the very next day, the little 3 year old is saying her feet are numb, my friend says oh the doc heard her heart, she is gonna die she needs surgery I just know it. Takes her to the cardiologist today and they did a echo again. NOTHING! He said she will be fine, no need to panic, no need to miss any sleep. Mind you this is the same cardio specialist that sees some of the most complicated pediatric cardio patients in this area. I would be happy as a clam to hear him tell me this info! But my friend is mad! She said she had her heart set on hearing that her daughter needs surgery. And that he is an idiot. So now because she is insisting that her daughter has poor blood circulation, the cardio doc told her that the primary doc needs to figure out why and THAT makes her mad. I just don't get her. Am I insensitive or could she actually have some sort of form of this syndrome? IF she does have this syndrome... Do I approach her... If I

tell her that the info the doc gave her was desirable news, she freaks out! sigh, 10 years and I'm just not positive I can watch her healthy little girl go through much more. HELP!

  • He thinks she is a tweeker?

I have been friends with this girl for 10 years. She is my only friend. (By choice) I met my husband 5 years ago. He has hated her from the jump. He recently suggested that he was positive she does meth. He said her teeth, her skin, her lack of saving $$ and how she makes $$. Yes all these things are weird. But how the heck can I miss this? I've never seen her with any sort of drug. And we always "tweeker bash" we talk crap about tweekers. Am I just stupid? I'm not a complete idiot, but could I be looking past the signs? Sigh, don't really want to think this stuff about her.

  • My friend the paranoid parent! help!?

My friend takes symptoms of something common and turns it into something horrifying. The really annoying part is she does it to her 3 year old. Then makes the doctor run a bunch of un necessary tests (example: at 3 weeks old baby was puking. She pressured the doctor to do a spinal tap, because she "knew" there was something wrong sad thing is the doctor allowed this on a tiny baby and couldn't. Get a significant sample and repeated 2 more times) this isn't her first rodeo, she has 3 previous children. Its really annoying. I hope that nothing is ever wrong with her child. Is this abuse? If this latest round of testing (for heart problems) turns up nothing, should I tell her that its abuse? It just seems like she really wants something to be wrong with her kid. Ecen though that sounds stupid even saying that, that's what it really seems like. She made the doctor test her healthy baby for downsyndrome... My daughter was born with downsyndrome... And she saw a symptom in her daughter and made the doctor test for it!!!!!!!! That just seems crazy to me. Am I human to be annoyed by this?

  • Should I be bothered by my husband fantasizing about my friends while we are... you know? ?

Lately I've been spicing up our bedroom life by talking about 3 somes, but without names. On his own he has been naming my friends. Ugh awkward! I like the results, but why does it have to be my friends? I just don't know if I should stop it... Or maybe just change the names, I almost think he really thinks I would ask my friends to come join us! Eeeek! What to do?

    Thank you

  • Husband keeps accusing me of lying/cheating... completly out of nowhere! how do i handle it? ?

I admit a few years ago, I lied about 3 things. 1 I had a friend in AZ, (male) and I flirted with him. 2 was a male friend in OR, VERY OLD BUDDY, and 3 I ran into a friend that I invited to use our car wash area at our apartments. Never slept with any of them EVER. Truth came out, it always does. We worked it out and I have not 1 male friend now. Which is fine I don't want to destroy my marriage. So today my hubby calls and says he has it all figured out and I've been lying this whole time, I slept with all the friends involved, he wants to leave. So wha

t do you do when your only guilty of lying, not guilty of sleeping with anybody? He is not so innocent, I found his email to be full of "d

ating website" entries and women wanting to meet up with him. He had a full blow account, stating he was single and so on.I don't throw that in his face, I forgave him and left it in the past, three years ago. How do you handle a

man that wants to leave, because he says he thinks I'm lying?

  • Been friends with a couple for 9 years, tell hubby wife is cheating or not?

I am friends with the wife before I'm friends with the husband, and although I am trusted with information, I still feel bad for this husband. She is pregnant by another man, its only a matter of time before the husband (whom has had a vasectomy) figures it out. The wife intends on convincing him the 1% chance that he could be the father. Do I tell him to watch out? I've tried to get her to tell him the truth. But she refuses. What to do... What to do?

  • What kind of friend should i be?

I have a friend who is pregnant with her 5th kid. The 4 she already has are already too much for her. To top it off, the kid is not her husbands its someone elses. I've know her and her family for years. I consider her my only friend. I just don't know if I can deal with her roller coaster life now that this baby is coming. I've always been there for her. But this also is not the first baby that is not her husbands. She has been praying for a miscarriage, but now that she is threatened with one she is doing everything she can to avoid it. I asked her do you want it or not? But she won't give me a straight answer. I don't really respect the situation, and I definitely don't respect what she has done to her husband. I don't like to judge, but I also don't like to hear her complain about how her husband doesn't love her, and how she can't handle her kids. Should I stay around or cut her out of my life to ease my stress?

By the way she is bi polar and gets depressed when she doesn't have money.
