WHO (exactly) "own" the Oil Companies?

Elderly folks' pension funds, publically held stocks, .........are the MAJORITY of 'who" owns oil companies. So....would it seem that TAXING the Oil Companies is "doublespeak" for "Taxing Retired folks and little investors"???

Would LOVE to see answers backed up by substantive citations.

I have gotten back a rant on a previous similarly worded question without ANY BACKUP whatsoever. If you have facts to support or refute the above, please state them. If not, please refrain from your ranting; it;s not very intelligent and only gives the rest a clearer insight to your tactics.

LOL Has Anyone seen this YAH0O scam ?

If you post something conservative & provacative - yet completely polite and offensive (i.e. totally in line with their "Community Standards"), then it is mysteriously voted as the "Best Answer", even though NO ONE voted or commented on it.

That way, it is removed from the database of currently Unanswered Questions - and becomes unavailable to anyone searching for that particular topic.

That is one of the cuter censorship tricks that I've seen so far.

It depends on who you ask, and on who is doing the counting.

Make sure that your source cites WHO they counted as "unemployed".

Just because your government unemployment benefits ran out, does not mean that one has ceased being unemployed.

Why not let ALL Mexicans from Mexico into US?

It is estimated that 3 Million Mexicans are here illegaly.

There are another 100 Million people living in Mexico, most of them in squalid poverty, without education or skills.

Does anyone oppose letting the rest of these Mexicans into the US so that they can "seek a better life"?

If so, how do you propose to pay for their expenses (Free Public School for their kids, Medical-Emergency Room care at $3000 a shot, putting other Americans out of work because they are willing to work for less, spending little or no money back into our economy since most of it is sent back to Mexico, working cash jobs and paying no taxes, etc).

Since most are unskilled, they would never qualify for legimiate jobs for which taxes are withheld. Landscapers assistant, domestic, or dishwasher at a roadside diner hardly qualifies as value addition, dont you think?

Has anyone counted the real cost of Illegal immigrants?

Emergency room care?

Free public schools for ther (many) illegal children?

Welfare and Medicare fraud that has been proven to be committed by them?

Violent Crime?

Indocrinated to HATE WHite Americans? (La Raza, etc)

Has anyone calculated the true "monetary benefit" of having them here?

(i.e. what about some illegal who underbids an American high shool kid who wants to mow your lawn; you give them $$ which they send to their home country, purchase beer or basic foodstuffs, and pay a fraction of the rent normally injected into our economy because 15 of them pack a single rented room? And this is an economic benefit HOW?

How much longer must the working taxpayer continue to fund social handouts to those who can or will not work?

How many more free college scholarships will we subsidize because a university "needs" to balance their racial makeup (multicultural)?

Since Section 8 (basically, free) housing has run out, what will become of the folks living there who now will NEVER give up their free apartment to someone else who may need it?

If you are on the dole, what incentive do you have to get back to work?

And, finally, how do we deal with the massive welfare and medicare fraud that is siphoning Billions from our support system. a system that we built with our broken backs?

Will this compel the working white man to throw in the towel and join the unemployed (by choice?) because he is sick of supporting those seeking a free lunch while his own children cannot afford a good college?

Will he be stirred to action by the rants of those who would call him "racist" for considering these (true) facts and excersizing his Freedom of Speech?
