  • Isn't the reason why we cannot understand the concept of infinity because?

    We have never been able to observe it directly because we die too quickly and cannot live long enough to grasp anything that is an example of the concept itself? Isn't it interesting that we study and know mathematics, yet we don't even fully understand one of the most powerful tenets of it? I think sometimes we get so bogged down in the numbers that we forget to appreciate the magnitude of the concept that we're manipulating on a piece of paper.

    Thoughts?
