  • purchasing college textbooks?

    I'll be a freshman in college this fall, so I'm new to obtaining textbooks for a good price. My school offers a rental/used/new books system, but Amazon seems cheaper. Many used books on Amazon are listed for $0.01 or a few cents.

    Is purchasing a textbook for a few cents reliable? What is some advice for getting books?
