  • My 13 year old son just got flat warts on his face; I want to hear from teens & adults who've had flat warts!?

If you had flat warts on the face, how did you treat them? What was your outcome? What treatment did you use and how satisfied were you with the results? Do they sometimes just go away?

Also open to hearing from medical professionals.

We are going to take our teen to the dermatologist as soon as they can get us in, so I don't want answers that say: "Take your kid to the doctor." I don't want Wiki answers either; I want to hear from people who have dealt with this, successfully or not!

  • 18th Round in the NFL Draft? Is he conning my sister?

My sister just started seeing this guy. He told us that in the 1982 NFL Draft he was drafted in the 18th Round by the Dallas Cowboys as a wide receiver.

This guy has made a few other claims that makes me wonder about his honesty so I looked it up on the internet and on every site I could find there were only 12 rounds in the 1982 NFL draft.

I'm not much of a sports authority, so can anyone let me know--were there really 18 rounds in the 1982 NFL draft?

If the guy really was drafted that would be great -- I just don't want my sister to be conned!

10 points to the person who can gave me definite information either way. I would really appreciate web links or resource referrals.

    Thank you!!!

  • DUI School - how much does in cost?

I live in Washington State and state law requires a minimum of 8 hours; so how much does it cost for a class?

Are classes held during the day, evening or week-ends? Is it an all day class or do they break it up in like 4 classes, 2 hours at a time? Does Health Insurance ever cover it?

Responses specific to Washington State will be great, but hearing from other areas will be interesting too.

(no lectures please about driving drunk-a friend got a DUI and is overwhelmed so I'm trying to get some information to help him out)

    Thank you!

  • Pharmacy refused to fill my Vicodin prescription for root canal?

I had a rough root canal today. I tried a new dentist who did a good job (it's not his fault my dying nerve did not cooperate). When I left the dentist gave me one prescription for an antibiotic and one presciption for 20 Vicodin.

I went to the closest pharmacy to get the prescriptions filled, telling them I have no health insurance and will be paying cash.

The pharmacist filled the antibiotic and refused to fill the Vicodin. She wrote on the prescription too soon to refill and gave me the script back.

I asked her how it could be too soon to refill since I just had the root canal and the script was written that day by a dentist I had never seen before and I am paying cash? She replied she made a call and that was what she was told. She just kept repeating Vicodin is a controlled substance and she refused to elaborate nor did she offer a consult for the one script they filled.

I have the script with her handwriting on it and want to go another pharmacy and get it filled, but I want to know--will the next pharmacist fill it or will the handwriting make them suspicious? I would like to be in less pain, but I don't need any legal trouble either.

So, if you work in a pharmacy, would you fill this legitimate prescription or would you call the police?

Please help! 10 points to best answer!

  • Wii Fit (Fitness)-how do you set it up so only your mii's scores show up?

Our younger children are getting discouraged that their scores aren't showing up since the teens scores are higher.

Can someone share with us -- how can only your mii scores show up, instead of the whole family's scores?

We would love to be able to see how we compare to each other some times, but the younger kids want their scores to show up to see how they are improving.

I hope Nintendo built this feature in, otherwise, my younger kids are going to be very discouraged.

  • Can you get Mononucleosis from an infected person's coughing?

Today I had a client in my office for over an hour. He kept coughing and coughing during the meeting. As he left he complained he hadn't been able to work all week because he has Mononucleosis.

    My questions are:

    1) How contagious is mono? He coughed throughout the meeting in MY office.

    2) Am I at risk?

    3) How long can mono germs survive on surfaces? As soon as he left, I disenfected everything he touched, but I am still freaked out.

Also, at work I drink out of Propel water bottles. With the twist on nipples (see http://www.propelwater.com/why_propel/calcium/

I drank out of my Propel bottle during the meeting while he was coughing so his germs might have gotten onto the bottle's nipple.

    I am very concerned.

Please don't cut and paste information on mono that is readily available on any internet search engine.

I want my three specific questions answered, so I will award the 10 points to the person who provides the answers to my

  • I want to purchase a capsule machine for herbal products I have found 3 types on eBay and want Answers on?

which type has worked well for you, or which ones to avoid.

Here are the three links on eBay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Cap-M-Quik-CAPSULE-MAKER-FILLE...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Capsule-filler-Machine-complet...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/CAPSULE-MACHINE-FILLS-EMPTY-CA...

Please if you don't know what a capsule machine is, don't post an Answer, I only want to hear which types people have had good or bad experiences with.

Also, if can recommend another vendor for a capsule machine or bulk herbs , please post the link.

It just seems that it is far cheaper to buy herbs in bulk and capsule them at home than it is to buy them at the health food stores.

  • Justice for a Vietnam Veteran?

I have a buddy who is a Vietnam Combat Veteran (U.S. Army).

In his first tour of duty in Viet Nam in 1966-67, 3 fellow American soldiers did these atrocities to him: beat him, harassed him, staked him out in the boiling sun (by piling sand bags on his legs, arms and shoulders), etc. mainly because he was an FNG (the new guy) and because he is slight in stature (he later served as a tunnel rat and in Special Forces).

If the Statute of Limitations has not run out, this veteran would like to file charges against those three soldiers.

Has the Statute of Limitations has run out?

Would it be best to contact the Army JAG or DAV?

Are there organizations that can help him find justice?

My buddy told me I am the only person he has confided this information to, which is why so much time has passed.

  • Is Platinum Protection, (home security), a legitimate company? If so, why do they use “hard” sale tactics?

When I got home from work tonight, my family was being given a high pressure sales pitch from a Platinum Protection guy.

The salesman was in his early 20's and said he was from Idaho and was just visiting our area to sale this wonderful home security system. If we display THEIR sign in our front yard for 3 years then EVERYTHING would be free, well except for the fee of ONLY $1.42 per day. He claimed that "Our Company doesn't even want to charge for the service, but the State makes us."

I listened for a few minutes, and was disgusted with his sales spiel. I told him that we weren’t interested and that he needed to leave my home. He ignored me and kept talking to my wife.

I again told him to leave my home. He then brought out his purchase order and said if my wife would just sign we could have the system installed tonight.

I told the jerk, you can leave some information with us, but we will need to consider this for a few days. He was appalled, --cont.

  • Is my Father In Law a Jerk? A movie was just released in theatres. My father-in-law (F-I-L) wanted?

us see this movie with him (i.e. his wife, my wife, our two kids & me). We told him our family wanted to wait and see this movie as a DVD Rental. F-I-L said he’d treat all of us to the movie.

We don’t usually buy refreshments at theatres because they charge so much. As soon as F-I-L had the tickets in hand, he asked my kids if they wanted candy, popcorn and soda pop? And of course they did!

So we ordered the refreshments and my F-I-L turns to me and says: “Since I paid to get everyone in, you should pay for the refreshments” So I paid and it cost almost me as much as he paid for the movie tickets.

After everyone got their refreshments, my F-I-L announced: “Sam, this movie is your birthday present from me.” (My birthday is a month away)

This caught me off-guard since I spent almost as much on refreshments as he spent for the tickets to this movie. After the movie was over (which I still felt was a DVD rental quality movie) he repeated that he was really glad (cont. )
