I prebuilt my own computer a while back, and the motherboard I have has 2 slots for DDR2 1066 and 2 slots for DDR3 800/1066. In the Specs it says it can run up to 8 gbs of Ram and right now I have G.Skill 2x2gb of DDR2 1066 in the two slots for the DDR2, but IDK if the 8 gbs means 2x2gb of DDR2 & 2x2gb DDR3 to put 2gb in each of the 4 slots, or If I need to buy 4x4gbs of either DDR2 or DDR3 to max out? This is the link showing the mobo I have, if anyone knows for sure let me know. I personally think it is 2gb in each slot for the max 8, and if I want to max out I need to buy 2x2gb of DDR3. The only reason I'm even worried is because I have a Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit sound card and an ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 series Video Card and Idk if the DDR3 ram would interfere with those? Okay, so my computer got a virus, I had to return it to factory settings..etc. But before all of this I would watch a lot of movies on my pc and Media Player Classic is the program I always used. It has a simple config, it doesn't use much as for resources (cpu/ram).. etc. But now I am trying to find a download for it, but every single one I've tried has strings attached whether it be I have to install a tool bar, or another program. Usually you can unclick the boxes in the install and just get the program you want, but for the first time ever I can't seem to find a clean download! If anyone out there knows where I can get it, or has an install kit they can just email to me for it since it is a small file, it would be greatly appreciated!
