  • Is it finally time to give the D-backs the respect they deserve?

It's ridiculous how many questions are asked about the Giants coming back to win the west. Will you people (east coasters) finally get off that bull ****?! If the D-backs go 11-11 the rest of the season, the Giants will have to go 18-4 to win! The D-backs are real and here to stay, accept it!

    Sincerely,

    A D-backs season ticket holder

  • What Crooklyn Dodgers song do you like more?

Personally i like the second one more just because of Jeru, and he rips it. Chubb Rock has a great verse as well. It helps that Premo did the beat for it, not that Q-Tip is a bad producer, i just like the second one all around better

  • What is your most prized album in your collection?

or rarest. I haven't been listening to hip hop for all that long (only 2 years) but i spend my money on cd's. I would say my most prized album is The Genius-Words From The Genius original pressing. I looked on ebay for it just to see how much they're selling for, and it's starting at $80. I bought it at a record store a few months ago for 10 bucks. So what's your most prized album, either cd or lp?

  • Has anyone played against a professional athlete?

Just curious cause i played against Jerryd Bayless (former UofA basketball player and Portland Trail Blazer guard) when we were kids, he's a year older than i am, and his team was coached by Eddie Johnson....my team got crushed. I've also played baseball against a few players who were drafted by the Diamondbacks and White Sox last year. Have you guys played against any professionals?

  • R&P: What are your thoughts on Run-DMC?

I'm a big fan of old school hip hop (up until '98), but i grew up listening to rock. I wanted to know what you guys/girls think of Run-DMC, because a bunch of their songs rock. They even saved Aerosmith's career with Walk This Way. Also what do you think about them being in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? I love Run-DMC, and think they deserve to be in there just about as much as anyone else.

  • What MC's do you think are under rated or over looked?

I think CL Smooth has always been over looked, the way he flows on Pete Rock's beats and his lyrics are good as well. Then there's Chuck D (not talking about Public Enemy) as an MC i don't understand why he isn't mentioned in the same breath as the other greats. Who do you guys think?

  • How much does this suck? Rakim and no one to go with?

Rakim is in Phoenix tonight and just like when Souls of Mischief and Ghostface were here this month, i had no one to go with. I went to Souls by myself since it was at a tiny bar by my apartment, but i didn't go to Ghostface. It sucks not having any friends who listen to the same music as i do. I'll probably end up going by myself again but still, it's not as fun by yourself.
