1 AnswerMythology & Folklore10 years agodoes the spin of a photon effect in any way its probability of being absorbed if its at the correct frequency?
I was wondering if the spin, the correct term escapes my mind at the moment, effects its ability of being absorbed by an electron or in some cases a molecule, i also was wondering if light can effect, for lack of a better word, the distance a magnetic field could extend from an atom, or if a photon in a correct amperage could hit a nucleus

2 AnswersEngineering10 years agoquestion for any member of the howlingjaws website?
okay, so its more then one question, but its still relevant
first, are you guys talking therians, or actual werewolves?
second, when it comes to actual werewolves, I understood it to be a thing that happened from birth, not the whole curse thing you see in the movies, and until the catholic church got to europe, I understood werewolves to usually be the folk heroes of legend with total control over the change, not some uncontrolled curse
third, why is it so dangerous to show yourselves, not that it is relevant or doesn't make you a little hot around the collar, but hasn't twilight changed a lot of the stupider peoples minds on the issue, and is there any evidence to support that it would be dangerous, like people disappearing after making transformation vids, or known lynchings in any state?
fourth, what does the website entail actually, they make it hard to know anything about it
thoughs are my questions, please post before bearclaw and his ilk make this post intolerable
4 AnswersMythology & Folklore10 years agoquestion for chaos magicians and spirit keepers, (since from what I've read, you seem to be prety knowledgebl)?
a while ago I made a sigil, and, ussing some steps I found online, I managed to graduate its energy into an egragor, and I got some good responses from it, I admittedly hadn't looked at the sigil for a while, though I guess now it wouldve technically been called an anchor, and since I finally got some tools, decided to bring it over to my apartment to work with it, you see, after I did, my grandmother, who is also the building super, came in to do some "spring cleaning" and ended up throwing the soggily away, my question is, is it posible to reconnect with the egragor by reconstructing the sigil, would it mater if the materials were different, and would it even be the same egragor I knew, because since I might have changed a little over the years, I'm worried the energy, If I tried putting any in now, might have an impact on the egragor, you see, though it might seem strange to some of you chaos magicians, I actually felt pretty close to this egragor when I worked with him, and consider him to be a pretty good friend, is there any way to get a connection back, I'd just like to see this egragor again

1 AnswerMythology & Folklore1 decade agoplease someone find the shadow person familiar summoning method I have been asking for?
I have been trying to find this story for ever, its on a website that also has a story of a caterpillar cat thing crawling out of a tv, it involves a full length or bedroom mirror, you know, one of the ones that stands on its own, a small table or Automne, and a pond or lake, I have had no luck on google and I cant remember the words it said to say into the mirror, the website was definitely there as of 2006, please, if you can find something similar, please write it down, I am generally looking for any familiar summoning method at this point, even though that one sounded cool, and I was hoping for something besides the animal or soul selling things, please respond if you have anything, it can even be creepypasta for all I care
1 AnswerMythology & Folklore1 decade agodoes anyone ever read the original folklore, or has awake and drink taken over the area of vampire research?
I am sick of being directed to the awake and drink sight every time I try to reference vampire folklore, if you are a moroi, one of those parasite keepers, a dhamphire of some kind, or maybe even a strigoi via, then that sight might be fine, but there are other kinds of vampires besides the energy sucking people out there, and frankly, if these guys and girls are energy vamps, then why don't they just pick a name from the original folklore that references what they are so that when the big, evil suckers attack or are sighted people can talk about them without being thronged by a bunch of psi vampire reference, I mean most people don't even know that dracula got a bunch of the stuff wrong, making twilight not even a vampire story, now, would anyone like to propose a solution to the annoying phenomena that I just griped about

7 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 decade agois there a chaos magician in the house, looking for advise on egragors?
I have had some success with the basics, collecting energy, focusing, ( in moderation), meditation, and opening hand chakras, but when it comes to creating entities, or even seeing ghosts, I'm kind of a Moron, I can see my aura and Other peoples auras, but not the color, just the distance it comes off the person, and I tried applying that to ghosts, but with limited success, anybody interested in radionics, psionics, chaos magick, or thaumaturge out there willing to lend advise

when I say egragors, I am referring to the chaos magick concept of a created being, like a tulpa, orly instead of having no free will, like a servitor, they can do what they want, and if you are talking about the watchers as in the angels from the bible who fell after they slept with human women who became the second kind of witches and gave birth to fairies, giants, and elfs, then I am not referring to thoughs aether
previous misunderstandings from previous questions are listed under additional information
