my current motherboard only supports amd processors so i was thinking along the lines of another amd and which one. On the other hand is it really worth it to get a new motherboard for an Intel cpu

I have a radeon 7770 and a LG 32LD350 heres the problem sometimes my PC detects the TV as a monitor and sometimes it doesn't so far it detects the TV after i spend quite a bit time unplugging the HDMI cord from the PC and plugging it back in I know it is not the TV or cord at fault as i can hook my laptop to the TV by simply plugging the HDMI cord in the first time. Also it has around an 80% chance the desktop will detect the TV on startup if i turn the TV on before the PC. PLEASE HELP THIS REALLY FRUSTRATING

current motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-970A its got a amd fx 4100 on it but i hear intel is far superior do need to go buy an intel motherboard just to switch my cpu

every time he plays a computer disk based game the laptop randomly shuts after about 2hrs even though it is plugged in but it only does this when he plays a computer not when performing other activites on the pc any ideas why and how to fix it
