Can you love someone you don't personally know i.e a celebrity?
I'm just curious about people's thoughts. I personally don't really know about it myself. Part of me thinks that of course you can't love someone you don't know because you don't know them. This goes for celebrities or crushes (I crushed on someone in school two years older than me that I never spoke to, only saw).
Another part of me thinks that whilst you may not be in love with them, there is a degree of love there, another type of love. I believe you'll never really know anyone, all you'll have of everyone you meet in life is an idea. So maybe it's not the celebrity or crush themselves that you love but the idea of them. You can read someone and paint a picture of that person on just a few things (body language, way they speak, hobbies, humour if you can see it) so can you love the idea of that person?
I just want to know what others think about the subject because it's really interesting to me.
5 AnswersPolls & Surveys4 years agoI locked my knee on a trampoline as a child and have had problems ever since?
As a child, I owned a trampoline and one day, when jumping, my knee locked in mid air and I landed with it straight. It was painful for about half an hour to an hour but, after some ice, I was able to bend it again and within a day I could walk properly.
Ever since that incident, the knee that locked hasn t been able to hold much weight or be used too much before it becomes painful and sometimes buckles. I can go weeks without an incident but if I do too much exercise or use it too much, it becomes painful. I ve also been putting most of my weight on my other knee which is becoming weaker due to the strain of my weight. I ve been losing weight to see if it helps and although it does slightly, I m still experiencing problems.
I basically want to know if you think I ve done some serious damage to my knee and should seek help or if it s going to be this way forever? The incident happened almost ten years ago now. I am an adult but I m terrified of the doctors so it s really a last resort to go. I ve always just thought it was weak joints and my weight.
