I was giving my dog kisses this morning and noticed that he had a pimple like bump on his lower eye lid. It doesn't seem to be bothering him and it's not inflamed. I hate to rush him to the vet for something that will work itself out (considering the cost of just stopping into the vet here!). He's gotten occasional little pimples on various areas of his body and they tend to work themselves out. But it concerns me on his eyelid. He has suffered from some mild conjunctivitis since we moved to New York City, which his vet says is normal. We work on it with OTC stuff and it's been fine. Has anyone else had the same experience? Any advice?

I've been home sick the past three days and food has been an issue! I'm starving, but nothing is appealing once I smell it or eat it. So it makes me wonder, what's your favorite comfort food when you are sick?

My dog was diagnosed with seasonal conjunctivitis last winter. This winter has been much worse. His right eye is always red and inflamed. Somedays are better than others. My vet gave me a topical gel to put in his eye when he's bugging at it, but it doesn't seem to be helping as much anymore. I have humidifiers in every room in the house and that seemed to help a bit. But poor little thing!

I was wondering if anyone had any homeopathic remedies that may work? I'm not a big believer in running to the vet for every little thing. I know that this is not serious, but I'd sure like to help him out since we have another couple months of winter.

I made some hard boiled eggs last night and I forgot to put them in the fridge after I let them cool off. Do you think they're ok? I mean, I remember as a kid my mom leaving them out for long periods of time and we still ate them. But I'm not so sure.
