Not a Good Role Model

I have a 2000 Stratus 2.4 cyl. that makes a chattering noise during mild to moderate acceleration and wants to stall at stops. The chatter sounds like it comes from the front under the engine area and seems to happen only if the car has been driving for a while. I just replaced the thermostat due to it overheating and flushed the old coolant out, now my water pump seems to be leaking so I have been adding water to replace what is lost. Now the car seems to run fine temp wise, doesnt appear to leak anymore either but that chatter started as of yesturday. With the exception of that noise an the stalling at the stops it runs decent. Any ideas on whats wrong?

I work on a decommissioned WW2 battleship. We have an overnight sleepover program, families and other groups spend the the night on the ship and sleep in the same bunks as the sailors did. There is one bunking area that is pretty much unknown, its the furthest bunking area at the front of the ship. that's where they made the non whites sleep because of segregation. There's about 300 hundred bunks in that section, and its much more practical to use that room for our overnight guests due to the way the program works. The upper management of the ship refuses to even open the room and have it on exhibit. Even though the racism and segregation of those days is a very negative time in American history, its still important to remember. Regardless of skin color they were all Americans fighting for the same cause and I think its a very reasonable idea to open that section and make a memorial. Does it seem like they are slightly racist or embarrassed of the past and want to sweep it under the rug?maybe forget it never happened on the ship.

A few years ago I let my sister in-law add a line to my cell phone plan. She paid us on time for a while and it was cool, then she wanted to switch to Sprint. We had Nextel and since it was kinda the same company they let us switch her, but she still had a year left on the Nextel plan so she got the early termination fee added to her bill. The short version of the long story is this, a few years later she now owes almost $1000 for that bill. It was under my name so technically I owe it, but its not really my fault. The phone company don't wanna hear that either. The collection agency just sent me a new collection notice, this hurt my credit, that was pretty decent before. She don't wanna pay us back either, the only thing I did not do was have her sign a contract or something. Am I screwed as far as this goes? If I had the money to pay the bill off I would do it, but I'd get my money $20-30 at a time by raiding her purse. Do I have any decent options to get this settled. The collection agency is willing to settle for nearly half of the total bill (still can't afford that)but because she is being such an a$$ about this I will still try to get $ 1000 from her. She wont answer calls or my texts so I cant talk like adults with her, its a screwed up situation all around. any advice would be appreciated.

My wife and I went to the Xtra Mart in Fall River Ma, yesterday. A girl paid with a supposed counterfeit $10 bill. The clerk took the money and then locked the doors. Leaving 3 other customers ( my wife , me and another girl) stuck inside even though none of us had anything to do with it. The clerk called the cops and we could not leave till they came 15-20 min. later. Was that legal to do to us all? Why could 'nt the guy just refuse to take the money. Worst case scenario what if that girl who passed the bill got crazy and had a gun or something , the clerk s behind a bullet proof window so he don't care what goes down. The funny part was the girl was a stripper ( a toothless one) claimed to get it from "working", I was also the only guy in the store and I look kinda sketchy so they probably thought it was me who did something, and when the cops came they asked if I was that girls boyfriend. weird night. Can anything be done?

When I get out of the truck sometimes I smell a hint of rotten eggs. Is the cat. going bad maybe? any help would be great. Also if it matters its an 03 Trailblazer Ls 4.2L

Why , when looking at an ad for a used car do they say that it has p/steering?. When is the last time a car was made without it. I can understand if it was an old car but I see it on ads for newer cars a lot. Is it just to make a lame car seen nicer by listing something that a car should have anyways? Does that not come standard on cars or what?

Whats so cool about being trendy? Ugly clothes that you say you would never wear, but when an celeb. wears them people run to the stores. Whats wrong with people? Think for your self. Magazines make such a big deal about whats trendy , and say to ditch last years out of date clothes. Why??? If your not one of those trendy fools this is not about you but feel free to comment, if your are tell me why I should jump on board and start acting like every one else.

guys with fruity haircuts, tight pants, and eyeliner ( sounds like Emo right?) girls with skirts on and tights underneath or what about wearing those ugly furry boots with a skirt. These trends are getting really stupid. What about those dumb sunglasses that evey body has to have Cuz omg they are soooooo cool!! a couple years ago when nobody wore them people would have said there stupid but now that they are trendy the same people who hated them back then love them now . Why do so many people need to follow trends? Do you need to fit in so badly that you dont think for yourself and just do what everyone else does? Everybody claims to wanna stand out and be and individual but how can you so that when you look and act like evrybody else. I not saying everybody is like that but the majority of people are just followers.Most people dont think for themselves anymore

I got this letter in the mail not long agosaying I won $325,000 but in order for me to claim the prize I have to send money back to cover the fees. They sent me a check for $6850 to cash and send to them to cover everything. I already know the whole thing is a scam but I wanna know if there is a way to cash the check . If I cash the check and the bank puts a hold on it and it clears but comes back as a fake later on why am I responsible for paying the money back if the bank said it was okay to begin with? the check looks real

The original filter in the truck was pretty dirty, I tapped it a few times and a lot of dirt and dust fell out. I put a new filter in ,its not a performance filter its just a Fram Tough Guard factory type replacement but I noticed a mild improvement with acceleration and pep the vehical even sounds better when its driving when I went for a quick ride around the block. Did I imagine it or did the fresh filter really help that much?

I have an Oxygen Globe snowboard with boots and bindings. The board is in good shape a few scratches but nothing major and a little rust on the edges. The bindings are burton and in great condition. The boots are Oxygen and the model is Disco ( that what it says on the sole)the boots also are in good condition. All the gear is used but does not look old or mistreated. I posted a question like this the other day but did not give pics or much detail so I have pics this time. So basically I just wanna know how much I could expect to get for the whole set up

I recently got a slightly used ,but free snowboard. Its an Oxygen Globe 59 board with burton bindings and matching Oxygen snowboard boots. I don't know too much about snowboarding but I know its a decent board. All of it is in nice shape. So what might the whole set up be worth?

I'm so f*cking sick of people driving in front of me and turning without using the blinkers. I hate that. Its kind of a minor thing but still is it that hard to use your damn turn signals!get off your $hitty little cell phone and pay attention. Oh yea and what with the a$$holes who wait to cut you off when your like ten yards away from them and ya gotta slam on your brakes to avoid hitting them. Next time it happens I might not stop I'll just hit ya depending on my mood.

I want to build muscle in my upper body( bigger arms, chest etc.) but I cant afford to go to the gym and I dont have acces to weights. Whats a good quick way to build as much muscle as possible without weights. Should I do alot of push ups? and roughly how long will it be before I notice a difference

Every night when I go to bed I have to sleep on my belly, that seems to be the only way I can fall asleep most of the time unless I fall asleep watching T.v. laying on my back. Is it harmfull to sleep on my stomache every night? cuz I've been doing for years.

Why did they not think of this sooner? Theres talk of making it illegal in Ma or R.I. I forget which state but this came afer a 13 yr old kid was killed by someone texting on their cell phone. Is that what it takes , a young kid getting killed? I drive all the time and see people talking and driving they almost hit me and act like its my fault and give me an attitude( one day Im gonna someones gonna get a cell phone shoved down their throat) but seriously when are people gonna use their heads ? I wonder what the person who hit the kid excuse was for texting while driving was.

I just got a new truck and I wanna get a nice exhaust tone. What are my options , I cant afford a complete exhaust system but I was thinking of getting a new muffler. The truck is a 03' Chevy Trailblazer 4.2 liter inline 6 275 h.p.I understand I probably wont get it to sound like a v8 but I do wanna get a nice sound from it and a few extra h.p.if possible. So what are my choices and if possible a rough price estimate to have it installed. Thanks in advance for any answers.
