What type of visitation/custody could the mother expect to get ?
I am just looking for some advice in a custody situation. What chance does a mother have of regaining custody of her children after losing it? Or what type of visitation could she get, If the mother has been locked up for the biggest part of the past 7 or so years and has only seen her children a couple times, does she have any real chance? If the mother was just released from prison for the 3rd time and then was forced to go to court ordered rehab (was then kicked out of said rehab for a dirty UA for perscription meds), will that work against her? Is there any possibilty of getting her kids back. Especially if the status quo has always been that someone else was their main caregiver, will the judge look past that and take them away from the home they live in now. The children are in the custody of their father and are in school and doing well, they are loved and taken care of, all their needs are being met. But she seems to think it is in the best interest of the children and the mothers right that they should be with her?

Please don't judge, no one is perfect. I am just looking for some advice in a custody situation. What chance does a mother have of regaining custody of her children after losing it? She is trying to get herself together has a place to live with family and hopefully a job, is there any possibilty of getting her kids back. Especially if the status quo has always been that someone else was their main caregiver, will the judge look past that and take them away from the home they live in now.
