  • Venom, have you noticed? I have.?

The wacko extreme left has almost made it trendy to be vile to those who oppose you. With this door cracked open (say anything or do anything to those who oppose you or lack of self discipline), the next step is easier to make - accountability is tossed out & anything goes just because you can.

This is what separates the adults from the children - adults know they can & don't, children know they can & do. The trend seems to increase exponentially when they can remain anonymous - look at what goes on online or even road rage. The truly sad part is that this HABIT of disrespect & immaturity, total disregard for others rights or opinions & an unwillingness to discipline yourself (or even see why it's important) becomes an actual character trait for them. What are your thoughts about the intellectual giants on the left that conduct barf outs on city hall steps? The compassionate left that hit police horses in the face with bricks? Sorry ericson, I have been away & busy.

  • Food for thought?

    1) Should the government tell a church what to do or say?

If you say that as long as the church follows the law of government, government should not dictate what the church says or teaches - then consider that slavery was once the law.

    2) Should the church stand against what is wrong, going against the government? (the catholic church has taken much criticism about not speaking up agianst Hitler).

    3) If something is true, is it wrong to say? (don't take the easy escape out with "who decides what is wrong" or "your wrong may not be my wrong" - we all know basic right & wrong i.e. murder, stealing etc).

Serious answers only please because I have seen a lot of people dancing around the issues on other questions today & I really want to hear what your view is. Thank you.

  • A split vote would give the advantage to Clinton?

No matter how much I want to vote for another party, no matter the logic or how it is the right thing to do, even if we don't win, just to send a message to Washington - I must say that the one thing that bothers me the most is the fact that by splitting the vote may allow Hillary to get in.

The remorse I will feel for the consequences of my action - knowing I had a hand in letting her into office, truly bothers me to the point of not wanting to vote anything other than republican.

This is a critical time, so critical that I willing to sacrifice a good vote for one that could stop her. Any democrat at this point will be a dangerous mistake, but I believe that Clinton is the most dangerous woman in America right now.

I find that I am willing to put up with another republican, just to keep her out. I believe this election is too important to split, the timing is too critical & with the electronic voting machines it may all be like kicking the wind anyway. What do you think Ericson?

  • list the pro's & con's of Ron Paul?

Where does he stand on: military, defense spending, taxes, economy, gun control, homeland security & the border. What does he believe on the topics of abortion, gay rights & judges trying to use their position to create law instead of interpreting what is already on the books?

Serious answers only please - for or against & please be civil. If you can reference a secondary source for your info that would be most helpful. Thanks much!

  • don't trust dems continued?

I don't have faith in any one party, I don't watch any one news station, I am aware that they all have a slant & that we are spending way too much on Iraq, but I don't like the idea of not finishing what we started. That idea would dishonor all that have died there. I know that the republican party is not perfect, but I also know that when a dem was in office we had Wako, Ruby Ridge, Oaklahoma City, Atlanta Olympics bombing, WTC 1, 2 American embassy bombings & the USS Cole. The WTC 2 came right after Bush was elected, so technically, that is credited to the dems as well. I can say I don't like the idea of getting my taxes raised, which I don't. I can say that I don't like socialized medicine, because if ours is so bad, why does everyone come here for their medical needs? Our doctors are so good precisely because they are not under socalized restrictions. And oh yes, two last things, I presume to speak for myself only at all times & yes, Linbaugh knows what he's talking about.

  • don't trust democrats?

A while back some democrat had a question on yahoo answers with something about how could they get us to trust them more. This morning I saw on the news a new bill for government paid health plan that would pay for illegal's health care & kick out about 2 million American seniors. No more than 2 min later, some dem has the gall to say about the victims of the Min bridge collapse "they were almost victims of the war" & how "we are spending so much $ on the war that we cannot afford to repair the bridges". I don't trust them because of things just like this, exploiting a bad situation, not watching out for seniors & wanting to use my hard earned tax dollars for people that shouldn't even be here. I have no problem with people coming to this country the right way, but not sneaking over the border. Do you trust democrats with your money? your safety? your country? Do you trust democrats, because I don't. I find them repugnant & cannot believe how condescending they are.

  • Does water, tap or bottled, go bad?

For emergency purposes we have bottles of water that come from the tap as well as bottled water. Every time we use a bottle of water it gets filled with tap so that there is water for flushing the toilet, dogs, bathing, cooking & drinking. Once a month I dump the water out & refill it & each container is kept in a plastic bag to protect the outside of the bottle as well. But is there something that I should know? This is safe to drink right? I've seen an expiration date on bottled water - why?
