How hot will my vodka be with 5 chillis?
I have a 50cl bottle of vodka and was told to put chillis in it to make chilli vodka. I had no idea how many to put in so I chopped up 4 of our home grown Fresno peppers (practically the same amount of heat as jalapeños) and put a large whole one in there (mainly for looks but I'm guessing the vodka will break it down). I put it in the fridge and I'm serving it in exactly a week. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being you can't taste it and 10 being so hot that the drinker experiences tears and sweat, how hot do you think it'll be? I want there to be a noticeable kick, but not enough to ruin my guests' night!
3 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits8 years agoHow much weight will I lose doing this?
Okay before I say, yes I know it's unhealthy, and I know it will have bad effects like slowing my metabolism, malnutrition, headaches etc. but I need to lose weight FAST.
I have a week (next Sunday morning) until an audition which I need to be slimmer for.
If I eat an apple and a black coffee a day and spend half an hour on the exercise bike, do an hour of brisk walking and 20 minutes strength exercise a day, how much weight do you think I could lose?
I could really do to lose an inch and a half round my stomach, but that's obviously not going to happen in a week.
42 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoHow can industrial relations have monetary value?
I'm answering a question asking me to apply an accounting concept to a statement. The statement says 'a business has good industrial relations and wishes to value this in the accounts at £20 000'
I thought good industrial relations simply meant that the relationship between employers and employees in the industry were good and experienced few issues?
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance8 years agoWhich accounting concept applies to this statement?
'The owner of a business has taken goods from stock for his own personal use. The goods originally cost £500'.
The concepts are
Business Entity concept
Cost concept
Dual Aspect concept
Materiality concept
Money Measurement concept
I answered the other concept questions okay, I just got really confused at this one. Which is it and why?
2 AnswersOther - Business & Finance8 years agoWhat key are these chords in?
I wrote a song for my music GCSE composition, and I have to write an appraisal for it. The only chords I use in it are C G D Em.
I thought it was in the key of G, but I'm really not sure. It has to be correct for my appraisal so I look like I know what I've composed. What key is it in?
3 AnswersOther - Music8 years agoIs this a good workout?
I've got prom coming up in 4 months, and a beach holiday after that, so I decided that I wanted to get abs by then. I don't want a 6 pack or anything, just so that the line at runs down the middle of my abs is visible. I'm currently 16 years old, 5"7, 10 stone 3 and have a 29" waist which I'd like to get down to 25".
Two weeks ago I started an exercise routine every other day which is as follows-
45 minute Zumba
50 sit ups
25 bicycle sit ups
20 leg raises
20 side leg raises
20 leg extensions
3x 20 squats
8 push ups (I have barely any arm strength)
3x 10 pec flies (4kg)
25x military press (4kg)
25x dumbbell curls (4kg)
25 crunches
2x 30 second plank
It takes me 1 1/4 hours to do, and so far I've lost half an inch. I was just wondering if that sounds right, and if it could get me where I want to be by prom?
I take a protein shake after my workout too. My diet's pretty good as well. I usually take in 1100-1200kcal and most of what I eat is fruit or nut snacks and smoothies during the day and fish/ quorn with vegetables at dinner. I don't really like chocolate or cake much so I don't eat them very often anyway.

2 AnswersHair8 years agoWhere can I get the Premier Inn email address?
I'm booking a school trip to London and have found Premier Inn County Hall to be perfectly situated near to where we will be visiting. There will be around 40 of us staying there, and so I was hoping to email about extended group bookings and possible discounts, but I can't seem to find and email address for them anywhere.
Does anybody know the email address/ where I can find it?
Thanks in advance.
4 AnswersLondon8 years agoWhat are some good musical songs to perform?
I'm involved in a music performance in which we have to come up with musical songs to perform. I have to perform two, but I'm not sure which ones to do.
I'm female and I usually perform acid jazz and acoustic rock, because they suit my voice type.
I need suggestions for what songs to do!
Any suggestions of musical songs that you really like or think would be good to perform would be really helpful! I have an okay vocal range (from a top G almost three octaves down to a low F) so I should be okay performing relatively big songs.
Any suggestions of songs from broadway productions are much appreciated
Thanks:)
2 AnswersSinging8 years agoAre there any dating websites you can join at 16?
I'm not some sex crazed, hormonal teenager looking to hook up with random strangers before you make that judgement. I've been thinking about this for a while. And before you say 16 is too young, may I remind you that by law you can legally live on your own, learn to drive and have sex at 16, so surely a trusted online dating site that allows 16 year olds to register is okay.
My main reason for wanting to join one is curiosity. I'm curious as to who you find, how it works and even how well it works. It's also partly for networking as well as speaking to new people.
I'm quite aware that it can be dangerous, and I don't intend to get caught in anything that could harm myself or someone else.
I'd just like to know, what online dating websites legally allow 16 year olds to join?

2 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoAre lip piercing holes noticeable?
I've had my ears pierced and I really want my lip pierced next year when I go on study leave. I've wanted one for a while and decided it would be best to get one during the 5 months between school and college.
I'm having some doubts about the visibility of the hole though. If I took it out for job interviews and at work would the hole be obvious? I get good grades and my parents are worried about me being judged for having my lip done if I go for a good job or go for a top university interview.
Are lip piercing holes noticeable?
8 AnswersOther - Skin & Body8 years agoGrade 4 or 5 guitar piece for GCSE performance?
Preferably acoustic, but I don't mind doing an electric guitar piece.
I'm in desperate need of a grade 4 or 5 exam piece because they have to be sent off in 3 months!
I prefer rock and alternative rock genres, but I don't mind doing a blues piece either.
Can anyone give me any songs to try out?
2 AnswersOther - Music9 years agoHow many A levels should I choose?
I've been looking at A level courses as I'll be moving up to college in the next year and was wondering how many courses it would be wise to take?
I wrote a list of courses and deleted the ones I wouldn't want to take, leaving myself with 6 A level courses left on my list. Two of these are English language and English language and Literature, so one of those will be deleted after further consideration anyway.
Could I take 5 at AS level? Or would it be wiser to take 4? I'm a very laid back person which gives me the advantage of not getting overly stressed when faced with hectic situations. However this does also mean that I'm not quite as good at keeping up with work loads as some others may be.
So far in my GCSEs I have never achieved lower than a grade C for an exam/ piece of work, and only three out of over thirty grades have been below an A. I'm not sure whether this ability to achieve at GCSE level would make much difference regarding achievement at A level standard, seeing as the courses are much more in depth.
Is it a good idea for me to take all 5 subjects at AS level, or should I take one from the list and study 4?
Also, the subjects I was looking at were German, Geography, English Language/ English Language and Literature, Business Studies and Accounting. In your opinion do they look like a good choice of courses to take or should I reconsider any?
5 AnswersOther - Education9 years agoUniversities in Europe that teach courses in English?
I'm living in England currently and coming to the end of high school which means I have to start thinking about my A level courses, and then about University. I know I don't want to stay in England for university, mainly because I'd like to experience education elsewhere, and partly because of the cost. Living in another country would also allow me to learn/ improve my ability in the language. I speak German fairly well, although I couldn't take courses in the language because my German isn't quite that good. I'm half French as well, and can get by in French, but my French isn't as good as my German and again I wouldn't be able to take a course run in the language.
I know that many universities are starting to run courses in English, and I was wondering which universities they were?
I'm not entirely sure which course(s) I'd like to take, so I want to have a look at what these universities have to offer to help make my decision. I think I'll end up taking a language, Geography or any subject to do with travel/ people.
Which European Universities run courses in English?
Thanks.
1 AnswerStudying Abroad9 years agoExperiencing heart palpitations?
Every so often I'll experience a stronger beating of the heart, almost as though it is being squeezed a little, which I can feel at the front of my neck. This occurs for a couple of minutes on average 10 times a day. This has been happening for just over two months. I also collapsed 2 weeks ago, which may or may not be related to the palpitations. I didn't experience the palpitations or any pain before I collapsed, I simply started to feel dizzy and lost consciousness for a couple of seconds.
The only change I've made to my regime is that three months ago I started eating more healthily and started doing an hour of exercise a day plus 20 minutes of cardio workout. I've lost 3" round my waist in doing so. I built it up slowly over the first month though so that there was no sudden change. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my heart problem?
I'm 15, Slim and otherwise in pretty much perfect health.
I have a doctor's appointment booked for next week too, I was just curious as to whether anyone could give me an idea as to what my problem could be before I go.
1 AnswerHeart Diseases9 years agoCan a 20 year old legally kiss a 15 year old?
I'm talking to my best friend about her boyfriend and basically I like being the one that knows everything about everything, and I'm not totally sure on the laws on her kissing her 20 year old boyfriend.
She's 16 in 3 months, and I know that that's the legal age for sexual actions, but I don't know if she can hug/ kiss her boyfriend before then. To make it clear I am NOT talking about sex or anything like that.
Please reply asap, I'm having the conversation with her now.
15 AnswersLaw & Ethics9 years agoI collapsed twice after pooping?
While I was on the toilet I started to feel light headed, and when I was walking to my room I collapsed, then again when I came back to the toilet. I had a really dizzy sensation.
Also, recently I've been experiencing periods of time when my hear starts to feel like it's sinking or being squeezed, and I can feel it in my throat. I don't know if this is anything to do with it?
1 AnswerWomen's Health9 years agoThe skin peels on my fingers?
I've had this since I can remember, and it's just before my finger nails where the skin peels a little. It's usually only very small peels, like if you were to scrape yourself on something and small white bits of skin peel. It doesn't hurt either, unless they're made worst by something like strumming on a guitar using fingers, when they peel further and hurt a bit.
Anyone know what it is/ how I can prevent it?
