1 AnswerPhysics8 years agoMy girlfriend wants to wait YEARS before sex. Advice?
She and I are both virgins, I am 18 and she is 16. I am one of the best boyfriends you could possibly imagine. I love her very much. She also loves me. We have been together for almost 6 months. We have gotten pretty physical while making out I would be willing to wait as long as it takes, but I know it would drive me crazy. She says she doesn't feel ready and just wants to MAKE SURE that it is the right decision, and I accept and respect that. I won't push her or force her to do something she doesn't want too. I could see myself waiting a year or so, but not 3-4 years. I still want to stay with her either way because for me it's not all about sex and whatnot. I genuinely care about her. My question to you is how do I at least convince her to not wait so long. I have already been told that she will be ready when she is ready and there's nothing I can do about it. But I'll take my chances. I can wait a while. but is there anyway I could convince her to not wait years?
P.S. (She isn't the religious type)
Also the legal age of consent with anyone in my state is 16 and above. There is also a law that states that if you are no more than two years apart, then it is legal from 13 and up. Ex: 13-15, 14-16, 15-17, 16- any age (Unless it is a person of influence such as a teacher, therapist, etc... in that case the legal age is pushed up to 18) Two years of age difference is not that bad, people.

6 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoThe hospital won't let me see my girlfriend?
My girlfriend has tried to commit suicide twice, once over two years ago and once last year (She backed out of the second attempt and got help) I accept this, it is her past and just that, the past. I understand she has her issues but I see past them because I really care for her. She is 16 and I am 18. We officially started dating almost 5 months ago. She was very depressed before I met her, but now her family always tells me how much happier she is and how happy they are that I make her happy. (Her family really likes me) So last week , after school, (exactly one year after her last attempt,) she cut her hair in the bathroom with a pair of scissors about two inches below her ear. (she cut her hair last year the same length) She did not tell anyone where she was and totally disappeared. Her brother called me and asked if she was at my house (her parents are VERY strict, she would have to have permission to ever walk to the store let alone go to my house) I said no, and he went on to tell me that no one knows where she is, she did not come home, and so I went and searched everywhere I thought she would be. Her brother and I kept calling each other to keep in contact and he eventually called me saying she texted her friend saying she was on a bridge wondering how cold the water was and was thinking about going for a swim. Naturally I freaked out, and met up with her father and we called the cops. I then went back to their house. Her therapist was there, I had never met her before. The police arrived and traced her cell phone and found that she was on one of the main city bridges which are very high and if you were to fall in the river you would surely die. But as they traced her they saw that she was moving away from the bridges. She came home on her own. She claimed to have no intention of self-harm or suicide. But her therapist made her go to the hospital anyways. I late got the full story from her mother. She wanted to go for a walk and be alone that day, but she knew her parents would not let her. She took a bus downtown, bought a doughnut, even walked past a pharmacy and did not buy any drugs, took a few pictures of the view, texted her friend (I got to read the rest of the text messages, she was CLEARLY kidding around with her friend! Not insinuating suicide) and then went home. She also had scissors on her and did not harm herself in anyway even though she had a huge chance to. She was put in a part of the hospital she had been to before and was recently transferred to a lower security section of the hospital. She did not want to take her anti-depressants at first and now they are pumping her full of more drugs than ever. She is constantly tired and all she does is sit in her room all day. They want to monitor her "morbid" thoughts and are calling her treatment "compliant treatment". Her therapist doesn't want us to see each other because she feels it will "interfere" with her treatment. And on top of that she won't be out for a LONG time (they are constantly pushing back her release date). I don't know what the big deal is if I can see her even just for a few minutes. It's driving me NUTS! Her mother keeps trying to let me see her but her doctors keep saying no. Isn't there anyways I will be able to visit her? If her parents say that I am able to see her doesn't that mean I should be able to? After all they are her legal guardians. Is there anything I can do??

2 AnswersMental Health8 years agoShould I ask my friends suicidal ex-girlfriend out?
My friend and his ex-girlfriend broke up about 8 months ago after going out for about a year. My friend got a new girlfriend the next day... About a year ago she tried to commit suicide but backed out in the middle of it and ended up in a hospital for a few months. Apparently she better now. So not too long ago we started talking and I kind of like her because we have a lot in common. I asked my other friend if I should ask her out, and he said "Dude, she's off limits". Now I'm unsure with what I should do. Should I ask her out? Or should I not? (Also, they broke up after she tried to commit suicide, not because they broke up) (And also it as a mutual break up)

I want to put a password on my account on a computer I have with Linux, but whenever I try to put the password on the account, it won't let me because I don't have an original password to authenticate it. AKA Since the account doesn't have a password I can't verify a new password..

1 AnswerSoftware9 years agoMy little brother is spoiled and my mother thinks I'm jealous?
Ling story short. I'm 18, he's 10. My father died a while back and my mom was remarried before it happened. His father spoils the living **** out of him. (example -A dirt bike, a laptop, anything he wants when ever he wants). So last week I asked him if I could use his laptop, he said "Why don't you get a job and buy one yourself!" even though his father, who I tried working for several times, who owes me hundreds of dollars, just up and got him a laptop. And I was called "jealous" just for getting mad at him for saying that. Also, just today, my sheets wherein hissed. I took them back and gave him his sheets because he still pisses in his sleep. And yet again I was called "jealous". There where many other occasions where I was unreasonably called "jealous". Do you think I'm jealous?
