Use what talent you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best. Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. I often feel sorry for people who don't read good books; they are missing a chance to lead an extra life. There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate's loot on Treasure Island. Books, to the reading child, are so much more than books - they are dreams and knowledge, they are a future, and a past. Music and reading are two of my greatest passions. I spend my days playing the clarinet, bass clarinet and singing, and by night I'm curled up with a good book. The Beatles are my musical inspiration. I could read Harry Potter and Anne of Green Gables a million times over. ♪♫☺♥
