I recently adopted a female dachshund from a family friend. She is one and a half years and incredibly territorial. This behavior is new and to my knowledge never happened with her old family. We haven't been reinforcing it but I've tried desensitizing and time outs and nothing seems to work. It's especially bad in my room. When anyone gets close to the door she barks like mad and if they get too close will lunge and snap at their hands. What are the proper ways to train her not to do this. I wouldn't mind if it was a stranger invading my home but this behavior is unacceptable when aimed at me and my family.

I use Google chrome and sometimes when I'm on a page (most typically it happens when watching a video on Netflix) its like every thing has shifted and I have to click off to the side of all the buttons to make them work and depending on the page it will have an extra vertical scroll bar or in the case of Netflix there is about a half an inch worth of space at the edge of the video where it shows that much of whichever screen I was looking at before going back to the Netflix tab. I've never seen anything like this before and couldn't find any answers online towards fixing it. Help before it drives me nuts!

I have a switchable graphics card in my new laptop I purchased recently for my designing class. One of my programs was running slow and that's how I figured out I needed to turn on the high performance graphics option. My question is even though it obviously operates faster, is it better for my computer to use the higher card on the more demanding programs?

ive told him that i dont want to be with him and that i have no more interest in him. he told me he was over me, but he keeps texting my best friend saying that he still think we will be together in the future. i just want him to leave me alone. i keep having creepy dreams where he tries to kill me or hurt me.
