  • Is this a positive result? Faintest of lines... Photo included?

I've been driving myself insane. For the last three mornings, I keep getting these faintest of lines after 3-5 minutes on all of my tests, from the cheap blue equate tests to the EPT tests. The line hasn't been any darker the last 3 times I've tested, once every morning for the last 3 mornings. So, I thought I'd ask all of the TTC ladies here: Is this a positive? Should I ignore this and re-test in a week? (My period is 1 day late)

    Thank you in advance!

  • TTC & Question About When I Can Test?

My husband and I are trying to conceive. We are both healthy and our doctor said that we should have no trouble baby-making, as long as the timing is right and nature takes its course.

My cycle is like clockwork... 27 days exactly, every month, no variation. My period is always 4 days, with spotting on the 5th day. I can chart my cycle down to a 6-8 hour window.

The first day of my last period was December 24.

My last period lasted for 4 days, with spotting on the 5th day.

I was due to ovulate on/around January 6th, according to the chart I have.

My husband and I did some baby-dancing on January 5th, January 7th, January 9th, and January 11th.

My next period is due on January 20th.

I know that the earliest I *should* test is the 15th (5 days before missed period, if I miss) but my husband is leaving town on business the morning of the 15th, and I was hoping to perhaps have a result before then...

Would the morning of the 14th be too soon to test? Should I wait until the 15th, or wait to see if I actually miss my period (my husband would be away at this time)?

Obviously, I know the how-to's and what I should be doing. But I'm looking for what everyone thinks. Opinions? Is 8dpo enough to test?
