Can't remember show name, help please?
There was this show on either the Science Channel or the Discovery Channel, and I can't remember the name of it. I remember quite a bit about it, but I can't figure it out no matter how many times I bang my head on my hardwood desk.
It was hosted by this long haired(?) guy who looked something between a hippie and something else. He wore futuristic-look clothing, and he was almost always, if not all the time, seen alone in a room, with holograms floating around him. He was planning trips to other planets and moons around the universe and the solar system (One I remember is Gilese 581, another was a moon around one of the Jovian Planets), listing what he would need, how he would get there, how he would survive, and it usually had a story that would be shown graphic novel style, based on someone traveling to wherever he was planning on traveling.
I know this may be confusing, but that's what I remember, and I haven't seen it ever since. Could someone please tell me what it was?

Saw it on youtube when I was looking for remixes of Arrival to Earth. It looks like a really good movie, but I can't figure out the name of it. Could someone tell me please?

I used to play this video game with a kick@$$ character in it. After a while, i drew away from it, and now i get all jumpy whenever i look at a picture of him. I don't want to be like this, because my muse for it is ever so slowly coming back. Can someone tell me how to look at him without flinching or something?

Personally, I like anything that's decent and has meaning. Basically, nothing obnoxious.
18 AnswersPolls & Surveys10 years agoThis idea for a series of books...?
I have an idea for a series of books. I would tell the plot to you, but because of two things, I wont.
1. I don't want to reveal it right now
2. If I did tell you, it would take a month.
It's like a mix of sword and sorcery, and sci-fi. I went and made a chart of the books, and it ended up being over 150 books, each about 300 pages long. I should also mention it's been driving me to distraction in school.
Do you think I should write it? I'm 12 years old, and I'm not sure if I will be able to get all of this out before I die, even with the snowflake software that I got (yes, I'm that serious about this). Please respond ASAP!
4 AnswersBooks & Authors10 years agoWhat do you think is the most amazing, astonishing, etc, thing that ever happened or was thought of?
It can be anything, just as long as it is related to being amazing, astonishing, cool, things like that. Is it a book? Is it a thought? Is it magic? Is it a movie you have seen? Is it a cool trick you saw someone do on a skateboard? As I said, ANYTHING, as long as you truly think its any of the mentioned adjectives or related to them. Please don't vote, I'll reply myself!
2 AnswersOther - Arts & Humanities10 years ago2012: What do you think?
I'm not asking whether 2012 doomsday will happen, I'm asking if you believe in it. Personally, I don't because:
1. We still can't predict the weather 100% correctly, so how would we know when the world ends?
2. If the so called "Nibiru" were coming, we would be able to see it now (those vids on the internet are just hoaxes and lens glares).
3. If you go by Nostradamus (which I usually don't), he said that we would have 100 years of war after 9/11, then 1000 years of peace, and THEN the world would end. Thusly, if you do a bit of easy math, we can say that if you do it the Nostradamus way, the world will end sometime around September 11th, 3101.
4. We've been predicting the end of the world for a long time now. Every time, we've been wrong. It's like saying it's going to storm and hail and thunder all night long when there's not a sign of rain or even a cloud in sight or on the weather maps.
'Scuse me for the long explanation. So, what gives?
