My roommate's boyfriend has an iPhone, and he uses it when he's at our apartment and using our internet. I'm fine with this, but that's not all he does. He also monitors our internet to see other users, and it just feels like an invasion of privacy. I'd like to block his specific device, and I can't just change the password because my roommate would just tell him the new one. Any ideas on whether I can block one specific device, or at least restrict what he can see? Thanks.

I'm planning to go to Germany and I was looking at hotels today. I found some that say "Hostel Room, Shared Bathroom", and was wondering what was meant by "hostel". This is at a hotel, not a youth hostel. It said "2 twin beds. Cable/satellite TV. Clock radio. Shower only. Shared bathroom.", and I was just wondering how that differed from a standard U.S. double room. Thanks for the help.

Hey, I have a dell Inspiron 1526, and I had an earlier problem where it would never boot. This was fixed by reloading the machine with the Window's CD, but ever since then I've had some issues. 1: The normally pre-installed games (Chess Titans, Freecell, etc) will no longer work. They are in the menu, but they don't do anything when I click on them. Chess Titans comes up with an error message about how I have an issue with the Direct3D, but I don't know what to do with that. 2: When I first had the laptop (before the reloading), whenever I plugged an external mouse into it, there was an option to disable the touchpad. This is no longer the case, and I have looked everywhere in the device manager to find the option to disable the touchpad, but the most I can do is to uninstall the drivers, which I don't really want to do. Also missing are the options to have the rightmost portion of the touchpad be a scroll bar, which I would like to have back. I was not the person who reloaded the machine (the IT tech at my school did it), nor was I there when he did it, so I have no idea what settings he had. I think very highly of the IT tech and I don't think it's anything he did. Any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it?

I just watched Sherlock Holmes (great movie by the way), and I was wondering if anyone new what the whole deal was in the opening scene in the crypts. Does anyone know what it is that Holmes breaks (it looks like a glass rod), and what it would've done if Watson had shot him. Thanks.

I have a DELL Inspiron notebook that was purchased new in January. It has been working fine, but today I went to turn it on and it won't go past the part that has what appears to be a flashing underscore, if you know what I'm talking about. The background is black, and it just sits on that screen like it's going to boot, but never does. Any ideas as to what's causing this? It didn't get struck by lightning or wet, as far as I know. We did have thunderstorms, but I had it completely unplugged.

Need help with Left 4 Dead 2 Multiplayer. I would like to use two legal licenses to play on four computers simultaneously. Yes, I know this is questionable from a legal standpoint. I know star wars empire at war has an offline plot but after you beat the game, can you still play w/out restarting. I'm looking for something along the lines of Fable in terms of still getting to play even after beating the game.

I was wondering if Empire at war was strictly online or if it had an offline plot. Also, after you beat Kreia in KOTOR 2, is there more game after the credits? And, anyone of some good star wars computer games (rpg) other than KOTOR 1 and 2?

Is there a way to disable ABS? I know that for a lot of drivers it is good, but I learned to pump my brakes and the ABS almost got me killed the other day. I was trying to stop and I just kept on going, straight into an intersection!

How do I uninstall msn messenger from my computer?

So I have a 1996 Toyota Camry and we got it from my uncle and he took good care of it, but it does have 150000 miles on it. Anyway, when we first got it it had no trouble starting, and then it went to where you would have to rev it up after it started otherwise it would die, and then it went to you would have to crank it for like 30 seconds so it would start, but now it won't turn over. Any ideas as to what's causing this? Thanks

The game is The Elder Scrolls of Morrowind and I had it installed and then I uninstalled and now it won't read the first disk to reinstall. The other two disks my computer will read but it won't recognize the first disk. Any help would be appreciated.
