  • FTP from windows to linux problem (advanced)?

    Okay I don't know if this will get answered because its rather advanced. I'm ftp'ing files from a windows machine to a linux machine. When copying these files to the root directory httpdocs the files become inaccessible. When you try to navigate to them it attempts to download the file, but when copying these same files into any sub directory the files open fine. They're just basic php files. When moving the files from the sub directory to the main directory the files are fine also.

    So ftp to httpdocs/test/ works, but ftp to httpdocs does not work.

  • Bank of America credit card question?

    I have almost exactly $4,000 in credit card debt with bank of America, and I lost my job 2 months ago. I'm on unemployment, but it's hard to make the minimum payments. I had worked at my previous job for 2 years 7 months and was laid off without warning. I tried going into bank of America and they called the credit card division, but I was told there was nothing they could do until I had a stable job. Is there anything that I can do to help lower the minimum payment for the next 6 months? Once I have a stable job again I would want the payments to go back to the way they were.

  • Can I take a char in code and convert it to a math symbol in code?

    Can I take a character '+' and use it to do an operation in code?

    so lets say I have Character b = '+' ;

    int c = 2 b 3;

    I do not want to use if statements to figure this out, I'm just wondering if there's a method in the character class that would make this easy. I know there's a method that returns whether it's a math symbol or not, but that's not what I'm looking for.

  • I want to add a right click option in windows xp?

    I want to add an option; Whenever I right click a file I want there to be an "Open Containing Folder" option. The option is present in the search, but nowhere else. I would like to add it to anywhere that I right click. I'm computer savvy so no need to give step by step instructions just give me an idea of where to go and what to do.

    Thanks -- Sefy
